Was this a Deusenberg? I thought about swinging by the car show when I was out running errands.

Cool Terry!
I was not given enough time for either show. plus the Gray 1st place winner may have seen it's last win.

Your car IS a 1st place car!!!
Now you can say an award winning car!

Good luck today both Mike and you, terry!!

yes... you ARE correct!
guess I'm better at taking pictues than Identifying the vehicles...
it does look a lot like a Duesenberg convertible (ie. cool, old and has lots of pipes sprouting out)... but it's not, huh... thanks for the correct I.D.

the duesenburg... for comparison...

Yea, they wrote "Firebird" on my dash entry paper.
Congrats, Terry on the win.
Hey, we got a lot of smiles from people looking at the Fieros.
Even though there were a lot of lowriders there I still think we had the lowest cars.

Auburn Speedster reproduction to be exact. This is like the car they used on the TV show Remington Steel. I think they were built on a Crown Vic chassis. They look pretty good but there are things that are different. Usually the wheels are a give away. Modern wheels and tires will not bolt on the original. Nor would you want to as the originals are worth too much to make this kind of change.

This is the kind of car you could drive daily and be very reliable.

Nice car!

Nice car!

I'm an idiot! I should have known that was an Auburn (look at the headlights and horns versus the Duesenberg.) That's like confusing a 67 Fairlane with a 67 GTO. Similar cars, but not really.
