Has anyone done this .... use the tachometer on modify it to work on a V8 .....I would like to do it but I need info... can it be done ? if so any schematics out there. My 5.7L is carbed.

I have done it several times. Just take the V6 tach, cut the trace and solder in 210K resistor (or variable resistor) per the instructions below.

i see on the link where to cut it but im not sure where to solder the resistor in??? could i get some help please

The tan looking box in the upper left of the picture isn't stock... solder the legs where its legs are soldered.
