You'd be surprised how cheap some molds go for. The problem is they have likely been used beyond the point that they actually need reconditioning in order to pull good quality parts. Even molds that are tooled for heavy duty usage would eventually see deterioration. Additionally, a mold does no good if the person actually using it doesn't have good fiberglass skills.

I agree though that some photographs would be nice.
