The 87 coupe I picked up from a guy shipping out to Iraq. First car I ever bought off Craigs List. Owner said the rust was not bad at all.

Well here was the floor on the pass. side. Truck looks good and rear rails don't look to bad. Car must have had water set under the seat..




I wanted to butt joint the replacement and not lap it. Also didn't want to cut out any more good metal then I had to. To make shaping the new pieces I decided to do it in three sections.
Turned out very solid. Didn't worry about the inside being smooth just wanted the bottom to look close to original.

I'm now working on a custom made undercoating mix to try out.

Great fix, Dodge. That was the first Fiero I have seen the floor rusted out that bad. How was the driver's side?

Much better than the pass. side. Much less rust.
