I just wanted to let everyone know that my 21 year old DeAnna lost her baby son. She was 5 months along. They are not sure what happened to him, he was moving this morning before she went to the Dr. for her monthly appointment. They did a ultrasound and couldnt find a heartbeat. We have been here at the hospital in Terrell since noon or so. They are inducing her labor now so she can expell the baby... Anyways, I just want everyone to keep DeAnna in your prayers... Thanks... My wife and I lost our first, then blessed us with twins. So I send well wishes and prayers from the bottom of my heart. Trust that the lord knows what he's doing.
sorry to here the bad news. hope all goes well. a few years back i lost a son 2 days after he was born. i guess theres no words to really explane the feeling. still brings me to tears when i really think about it. just know my thoughts are with you. hope the backing of the comunity helps ease the pain at least a little.

OMG...OMG...OMG... Its finally over. DeAnna finally expelled the baby about an hour ago. DeAnna &Danny (son in law) said thank you very much for everyones comments. I got up in the hospital bed w/ DeAnna to read this thread them. They could not believe the love and concern of total strangers. I told her that PFF w/ my first set of in laws. I will post more of a update. Thanks again, and I love Yall...

Did you forget that I already have 4 grandkids now..?? 3 girls and a boy... DeAnna has Chloe that just turned 2, she is ready to get home to Chloe. BTW... Its Pop-Pop, not Grampa Smoothie...

My brother's wife recently had a miscarriage. They were expecting their first child. While everything does happen for a reason, it is none the less difficult to endure not only for the couple but anyone around them

I'm just now seeing this, and I feel so bad for all that are involved. IF I was in town, I would have stopped by the hospital for support. My prayers are with you all.

Sorry for the loss of your baby. We've been there before and I know first hand how rough that can be. But God rewarded our patience with a beautiful baby boy nine years ago.

WHEW.... DeAnna is home now. Shes an emotional wreck right now. Being w/ Chloe was a big help with that though. We are going to get her into some counseling asap. Thanks again for everyones thoughts and prayers. They ARE helping us all.

We had some friends go through the same thing and I would not wish this on anyone... luckily they have another on the way now and everything looks good so far, but there will always be thoughts of what could have been. Stories like this remind me how much I take my kids for granted sometimes, life is a precarious thing.
Thoughts and prayers are with your daughter and family... don't worry about posting in the wrong section.
Howdy, The title is mis leading. She never had a baby/ grandson. It was a future grandbaby. the fedus is an unborn child and is not considered a "grandchild" untill it is a breathing baby. Not messing with ya just sayin.. So anyway, sorry about the abortion. At 21 she should not be having babys anyway! But it makes since, drinking age 21. baby at 21.. fun times! Jay

Sorry to hear this Smoooth. I have 4 kids from a previous marriage--would have been 5 but one of the twins did not make it to term. Jane and I lost 2 to miscarriage as well in 2004 and 2005. She was heartbroken, as she has never had a child. Would have been rather late in life for me (55) , but still, I had looked forward to having a baby in the house again.

It may not be much help for the family's grief, but the child is in a better place than this world. He's in a place of ultimate peace and love. My heart goes out to the family tho in this time of loss. Love ya, bro.
