Yeah I talked to him on the phone a few months back when I was buying.. Hes firm at 9k, he wanted 11.... LOL! Car is worth 5k at absolute best, its in nice shape and well documented, but not 9k nice.
I like how he says how few miles are on the engine, but refuses to say how many are on the car. He probably spent $9k on it, and thinks he can get that much back. Looks like a $5k car, maybe.
NEW engine?? So he bored and stroked the 'new' engine? And then he replaced the cam and out on a new timing chain.
AND a "cast iron high volume oil pump replaces the origional aluminum pump"
His NEW Egr valve looks quite rusty. With all the "money" he spend on "new" stuff you think he could have blown for a custom wire set that fit properly.
The dog bone rubbers look shot
and the "Heavy Duty 5 Speed Getrag transmission"

looking at that engine bay picture... The paint on the valve covers, and the intake manifold... I swear looks ugly. so its not a "new" its a "rebuilt" engine, big difference. I rebuilt my engine and it was cheap money, mainly just to get me from point A to point B until I have enough for a new cradle, and engine, and have time and space to do my work to the new cradle and engine (custom parts, refinishing, painting, prettying, wiring, etc).
Anyway when I do the swap anyone want a new 2.8L V6? $1500! its a RARE 1986 Fiero GT engine, converted for an 1987 Fiero cooling system, ONLY 786 MILES ON IT!
Just kidding :P
