Since I work in manufacturing and have access to Auto Cad and Solid Works not to mention 3 lasers, 2 brakes, 1 panel bender, 2 mills, 1 lathe, 1 spot welder, a roller, a roundo, several welders, an iron worker, and a band saw, AND since I will be involved with Jesse (88lambofiero) in the stripping of a 1987 SE this weekend, I thought I would throw this out there. If you could buy new what part/s would you like to see manufactured?

Over the years I have talked to a few people and have gotten emails and the big ones are:

New center counsel made out of aluminum instead of plastic, (This one will be attempted.)
Fuel tank aluminum or stainless
trunk corners ( I could really use a set of these)
reinforcement for mirror knob ( I need one of these)
corner covers where the knee hits the vinyl

I might even try new rockers since I know mine are about gone.

Like I said the car will be stripped to nothing and I will have perfect access to all these parts, and more. I will say right off the bat that there are limitations for example I will not make calipers, master cylinders, control arms... But I am open to suggestions. A lot of you have seen the verticle door hinges that Jesse and I produce, and the custom vents that I make, so we decided to pursue more products for our cars. We know that we won't get wealthy off of this deal, it is mainly for the satisfaction of keeping our cars on the road and in the best shape as possible.

So without further ado let the survey begin...

Yes, the console would be a great piece. What are the custom vents that you mentioned?

Since for some reason I can't get pip to work on any of my computers, I'll have to link things. Scroll down on this page;

There is a photo of the heartland show vent here. There is also a photo of the dells run vents in the dells run thread and I did a set for Tyler's toy.

I have to get pip figured out

I don't have pics of my vents right now but I will post some tomorrow we all so make this stuff. First pic is the ground effects. I had them made to hide my neon light but they look cool anyway. second is the center gauge plate. Can be done with anything cut in to it
