I had an opportunity to stop at a CAT scale this evening with my '85GT.

Included Equipment:

3800SC Series II Engine
4T65-E HD AOD Transmission
Muffler (no CAT)
Transmission Cooler
Power Windows
Power Brakes
Power Door Locks
Air Conditioning
Tilt Wheel
Sun Roof
Cruise
Rear Spoiler
'88GT Wheels
Fuel Tank Full
285 Lbs in drivers seat (Me)

Weights:
Front Axle - 1300 Lbs (40.6%)
Rear Axle - 1900 Lbs (59.4%)
Total 3200 - 3200 Lbs

Has anyone used a CAT scale before? Do they only weigh to the nearest 100 Lbs? Or, did I need to request finer resolution on the numbers?

The scale at the race track says my Fiero weighs 2590 lb with 1/4 tank of gas. That's in "street trim", with the spare tire, jack, fire extinguisher, emergency tool kit, etc.

Optioned as follows:

-- 87 Fiero SE
-- 3.4 V6 / Getrag 5-spd
-- No power locks / windows / mirrors, etc
-- A/C & heater
-- Rear Window Defrost
-- Tilt Steering Wheel
-- Rear Spoiler

Stuff I did that added weight:

-- Addco 1" front and 3/4" rear sway bars
-- Grand Am brakes front & rear
-- Engine oil cooler w/ fan
-- Stereo system with 8" subwoofer, amplifier, and stiffening capacitor

Stuff I did that reduced weight:

-- Forged Aluminum 17x7" wheels with 215/45 tires
-- Corbeau Forza seats
-- ACC carpet
-- Fiberglass console
-- Smaller battery
-- Gear-reduction starter
-- Steering stabilizer delete
-- Lots of body work
