I know I would latch onto something like this if I was a few years younger and a few dollars richer.

In recent times, the custom aftermarket car/automobile roadwheel has become a status symbol. These wheels are often incorrectly referred to as "rims". The term "rim" is incorrect because the rim is only the outer portion of a wheel (where the tire is mounted )

You don't go that quick in auto-x, unless you have a serious spec built car. On most layouts you'll barely get up to third gear. You can easily compete in your local SCCA auto-x events with a duke Fiero.

Looks like he is running the Waterford hills Road course instead of autocross. This car would be fine for that. That course has many turns and only about 1 straight where you can get moving pretty good. The important parts is how much HP the car is making for it's class and if the chassis is compeditive. I would be interested to know how he placed and what chassis tuning has been done.

I did for 4 years but got tired of being in the back of the field so I switched to E Production and got much faster. Still outclassed in EP but there are a lot of cars from slower classes behind me now. Racing is a work in progress, always trying to improve something.
