I have a set of K Munsons smoked lens covers, his install instructions say you have to hold the clip from behind. how in the world do you get behind the light to hold the clip?

There is a gap just behind the opening if you reach under the car. It sits to the left and right you can slip your hand into it. I find it easier to hold the clip onto the fascia in the turn signal area and press the lens in from the outside.
