I just thought I'd let my buddies at PFF know I won't be hanging around here anymore for a long time. I wrecked my Fiero a week ago, and won't be getting another for quite sometime. I sold it to my friend, and I'll be helping him out in the restoration process, so I might post a few more questions. But other than that, there's no reason to stick around. I got a 2002 VW Golf GLS to replace* it (*clearly, nothing can replace a Fiero). I got it in perfect shape, showroom quality. I'm sure I'll have fun with it, but not as much as I had with the Fiero. So, goodbye for now PFF. I'll be back someday. -Greg
Ouch. Just because you no longer have a Fiero though doesn't mean you have to leave. Look at all the guys that stick around and still have fun - you won't find a better online community.
Yeah, just come on over to O/T for a while, do you know how many questions / topics I post about Fiero's, only when mine breaks (surprisingly seldom), I hardly ever answer simply because I don't know much about the car, at least compared to everyone else on the forum. I spend most of my time in O/T simply because the tech section is over my head, general is usually pretty boring , and O/T can be pretty fun as long as you stay out of the political ones. Like the guy above me said (whose name I forget) this is a great community even if you rarely talk about or own a fiero (but it certainly helps ).

I'd love stay around, but I'm gonna need to get on a VW forum and I just wont have too much free time. And Nemesis, you're absolutely correct. I will never find a forum with better people. Maybe I'll pop up every now and again. I'm keeping the email with my password and username, but I wont be back as heavily as I am for a solid 10 years.

I love VW's. I don't own one anymore. I sold mine to buy the Fiero, but one day I will own another Golf or GTI... Maybe a Jetta... My most wanted would be a Corrado.
There's just something about them...

Stick around! You will have another Fiero in no time. There is no cure for the disease. Pics of the VW?
I have no "reason" to stick around. And realistically, I won't have a Fiero for a while. I'll try to get some pics up sometime in the near future. It's black, and I've got a buddy with a silver GTI, so photoshoots are a must. I also put the front emblem on the grill

Don't even get me started on those! I found a perfect one with low mileage, but my dad didn't like it because the interior door panels were off-not even missing...
