Haha, the "Pontiac Delorian"...

Really though, $1500 isn't a bad price for the car. Just take the cardboard time traveler off the back and take off the pin stripes, and you have yourself a nice '88 Fiero!

Is it a 88?

Time Machine was built from a max awesome 1985 Fiero, in great condition, with 80,000 wicked miles (or 120K kilometers) - most of those miles were spent in daredevil care chases, running from the cops, extreme drag racing in the desert & traveling back in time to the 80s.

The bumpers look like 88's.

Also in the first pic we see this.

And a question asked by a poster and answered at the bottom.

quote

Q: Has this one been upgraded to run on vegtables, garbage and other bio fuel yet.
A: The Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor has not been installed yet...this is the time machine from BTTF 1.

But it sure looks like I see the white from a Mr. Fusion in the pic!

Either way, LMAO for a funny add.

Off topic and just out of curiosity, why did you use tinyurl.com for the link? You could have just pasted the original link. Just wondering

It's been made up of multiple cars I dare say. It says '88 and it has the dot matrix interior parts, but is also listed as based on an '85 GT and has the '85 GT cluster...

No idea what year it is, the title says it's a 1988, but in the description it says:

"Time Machine was built from a max awesome 1985 Fiero, in great condition, with 80,000 wicked miles"

Basically, if you buy this car, everyone will think you are cool.

Maybe the single best line I have seen in an automobile ad.

The carfax says it's an 88.
Remove the crap and it could be a neat little car for the money although it's got 210 k on the clock!

I'm at a loss, wich is more fitting.

"somebody burnt their lips on the crack pipe".

or

"just because you think you can, doesn't mean you should".

Cheers Beers n Gearz. Joe

I've done a few searches but came up empty. I seem to remember a post awhile back from someone looking for a Fiero to build a BTTF time machine replica with to make a movie... I wonder if this is the car?
