Sorry, this is not a closed course with professional drivers. You have people standing right next to the road and the whole thing is poorly lit. It looks like just a typical street race. At least in Flint there are not a lot of cops.

The bike is going to have the power-to-drag advantage. So unless he drops a cylinder or two, or you have "OMGWTF" horsepower, he is going to have the advantage at high speed.
Cool video, though.

Its lit pretty well, by definition, they were professional drivers, and it was a very closed course.

professional drivers? So, they do this for a living? Sorry, it looks like a typical street race. Why would you want to race where there are large groups of people lining the "street" and also large trees? All it would take is someone to blow a tire or an axle....There are drag strips for this type of racing. But anyway... the video is "ok", but it is hard to tell what is happening without timers.

Yes, the video is pretty cool. But, sweet! Wait until one of your family gets mowed down by a 3000 lb rocket? Ah yes, good times.
Also not too smart posting up illegal activities for the law to see. Or trying to say that these are "professionals" on a "closed course."
As smart as you Flint boys think you are when it comes to making go fast toys, I thought maybe one of you would read the papers. Guess you all don't remember that colored girl getting chopped in half by the silver Mustang off of French rd. in the "D"? Oh well. Maybe it will be your sister next time? But, moron that later...
Editted: I did not mean to bring race into this. But, it was a colored girl that was killed by a street race. No intentions of racism meant by me. You all know where I stand on racism.

Street racing isn't a new thing by any means. In my dad's day, they used to close the main street for drag racing, and that was in the 50's. Most of us have done a little street racing in one way or another, so let's not be hypocrites here. Honestly, the "GOOD GOD" at the end was pretty damn funny. I would say though that you should find a more secluded spot and don't post videos that could be incriminating on the internet. Grats on doign well against a sport bike. No way you'd win that one but good try.

Don't be ridiculous and we don't go to french rd...
Yeah. That shat could NEVER happen in Flint?
Possible scenarios... 1) You win race. 2) You lose race. 3) You hit a tree. 4) You hit a bystander. 5) You go to jail. Err, wait, no, prison. 6) Somebody nails you in the a$$.
I have spent my share of time watching street races. And my share of time getting the vision of a girl cut in half by that Mustang out of my head. (Never will go away.)
So, um yeah, keep being intelligent. You can do whatever you like. I can also do whatever I like. And I like to tell you just how selfish it is to street race. You guys post up some pretty impressive times at the track. But, you little Flint attitude is just crap. My money is that I will read about you in the papers. $$$$ Your money is......well it is non existant.
There is a greater chance of getting shot or stabbed down there than being ran over. Its definitely not the smartest thing but where else are you going to have that much fun at 3am?
ive raced a few bikes... most of the riders arent experienced enough and usually launch poorly or give up after a few car lengths... the experienced riders hand me my @$$ lol

I can think of plenty of things I would rather be doing at 3 AM. And I wouldn't generally be doing them in the middle of the street, though the passenger side of a Fiero isn't a bad place for it.

Street racing can be fun when its done in isolated areas or on the highway. If someone pulls out suddenly in a street race in an urban evironment something bad can happen.

Just out of curiosity, this goes out to all those giving him a hard time about street racing.
Why do you give this guy a hard time but won't say anything when its some one like FieroX does it, he actually lost control of his fiero... Don't see yall giving him a hard time.

In a bed with a female partner!
I to do not condone street racing. I have nowhere to talk because I used to go to them and I used to race in them but I lost someone very close to me. Nice win but you are street racing and you are breaking the law. Were not idiots here , We know it was not on a closed corse and was not done by professional drivers I dont car how good of a driver you think you are. Not saying this to be an a$$hole but you'll get yours one day. I just hope it dosent involve someone elses life in the process.

I dont condone fieroX's action's either but he at least wasent doing it in an area where inocent bystanderd's are at risk. Dont get me wrong i open my fiero's up every once and a while but there is a diffrence between street racing and having fun.

If you choose to attend a street race and then stand anywhere near a 3000 lb. rocket's potential path of destruction and get chopped in half... well, you condoned it and accepted the liabilities by just being there. And if you brought your little sister, you are just irresponsible.
However, if you're sitting in your kitchen and justinbart comes flying thru the wall and decapitates you and your dog, then suck for you.

This is truly an excellent point. What about all the videos where it shows a Fiero doing a burnout on a residential street? I don't see anyone giving them grief either. People are hypocrites on the net and there are certainly quite a few of them on this forum. How many of these people have raced a car at a red light? Or maybe on the highway? Double standards make me lose respect for people in general. That said, again the OP will eventually look back when he's older and see the flaw in his thinking now.

Did FieroX wreck his car? I will have to check it out.
Edit: Whew! Guess not? Still, street racing bad. I mean really, do what you want to do. It is illegal. Accidents do happen. That's what the strip is for. Simple as that.

You know, I have a strong feeling that you are refering to me. Well smartass, I am no hypocrite. If you ARE refering to me, then why don't you PM me, I will give you my #, even my address, and we can talk it out. I, of all people on this forum, am not a hypocrite. I have seen the destruction of street racing, and interjected life's experiences, hoping to get through to the next generation. Darkhorizon, and Justin Bart don't need me to tell them what to do, but others might. Those guys don't take my razzing of them seriously, and I don't take the razzing I get seriously either.
Actually, check your PMs. My # is there. Feel free to tell me what you think.
