Wow, I think, we the AAFO,( Alamo Area Fiero Owners), should hold the the meeting in Plugerville. That way we could be the PAFO. Cool right. See you all in San Antonio.

And...The Red River Ruckus has only been at the Red River Twice, right? I may have missed one. It is another great event for the Texas, OK and surounding Fiero owners. It makes me sad when I can't come to both Round-Up and Ruckus.

HEY!!!

Anybody remember Ken & Heidi?? Well, we are still alive, just stuck under a rock for the past year or so. The economic downturn was a major life change for us. After being laid off, I started my own business. This resulted in long hours and working weekends. Then my dream job appeared so I jumped on it. Turns out, this job is also long hours including weekends. But, at least I love the work and admire the business.

Anyway, unfortunately, our Fiero is not ready for the Round-Up. It’s in sad need of maintenance; transmission bearings are loose and noisy, A/C clutch is dead, paint is pealing, needs new rear toe-links, parking brake needs adjustment, and on and on… with no time to deal with it. Regardless, Heidi has sent in our registration, so ready or not, we will be there – including our ragged pride and joy Fiero.

See Ya!

It is all set the dates are a lock, see Kevin's page 1;

MAY 14th - 16th 2010

5/14; Friday night, Meet & Greet, Biff's Burgers, lots of neat cars to see. Later on to Taco Cabana for "RITAS', if you like!
5/15; Show and Shine, cruise, dinner, ye-ha! Extra activities for the young by age and heart.
5/16; Taco Cabana, the other one, for breakfast and plaques, if you can get up on time, Blake!!!!!!!

Sounds like a fun time for all in Old San Antonio.

Whittling away at my list of "to do's" before the Round up. Got the Drivers door hinges rebuilt and a new dew wipe installed today along with rebuilding the manual adjustable mirror. I got to get after it to get it all done.

I am seriously looking forward to a long Fiero road trip. I haven't had the car out on the highway in a couple of years. And travelling with the Katatak crew will be more fun than you can imagine.

No I will be Fiero-less.
I`m still not finished with the dash as I have had a couple of design changes.
I`m not working on it this week because I`m trying to stay inside out of the pollen laden air.
My band is recording a demo this weekend and after me being 100% well for 2 months I have
developed a cough. Just my luck, I`m the singer.

Been working hard. Fixed a problem with my muffler falling off the headers,
Got some lexan for the back glass,
Redid the front hinges to the dual plain types,
Started on a hood latch so it will stop the annoying bouncing,
Looking at options for side mirrors,
Getting my cruise timing setup,
Got materials for the dogbone on the way

Still got a long list of things to do, but we will see if it is safe for a trip that far.

Great, sounds like a great group heading in. Without you out of towners, it would just be another AAFO meeting! We appreciate your attendance and want to do anything we can to make your trip a fun filled as possible.

Thanks again,

Going to try and have the 3800SC swap I have been working on ready for the trip so I might not be in my car. Hoepfully everything is worked out on it and it can make the trip. Will be a good test run for the car before I take it out to California to the owner....This might mean Revin will have the fastest car at the show but we will see....
