I will start this thread to show what I did about 30 nights before Elmia Custom motor show when I found out that they wanted my car there.
The most work was done with the interior. The outside I went back from the f355 front and stage II scoops because I did not have the money or place to repaint before the show.

Still a lot of snow when I started, I will not post day by day but I will try and get everything and answer your questions.

I started with the inner door and have tried out 4 different designs before without being happy with the result. This time I used a Volvo S60 upper peace.
I cut down the part I didn´t want and made a back of 3mm wood.

I then used polyester resin and fiberglas

And then some fleece and resin

Sorry for bad spelling...

I then built the speaker position with a MDF ring that was fixed on the back board and over that I used fleece again + resin

In this picture you can se all the shapes that I worked on with this door. The E-brake works fine with the door closed

Here I started to cut down the parts of the back board I didn´t use. And you can se the MDF ring on the inside of the speaker position.

I used more resin to get the parts more stable. Both back and front.

I placed orders for a custom made firebird gaugeoverlay. (Did not get that in time... and still waiting)
Also placed an order for new 18" rims and tires. Rosso RR1

The cluster overlay will look something like this but with the fiero pegasus and my own text

I started to make plans for the center consol. I wanted the consol to have cup holders (From saab 9-5 back seat) and the shape should follow the seats.

Also needed a part that fits under the Trans Am dash to get a "original" look

Thin aluminium tape over the part I had and the the same process as always...

I used gelcoat to get the part stronger

New part in the car and I had to make a hole for my fixing point make for the Trans Am dash. The vents are from..... YES, Volvo S60

This was the first of the center consol. 6mm MDF.
I later found that fiberglas was better for me...

And the door needed some material in the back side. I used something called Bonocell to start with and then fiberglass over that

And this pease needed some black fake leather

Fake leather to match the seats

When working with fiberglass it´s good to have many brushes. They can´t be used more than ones

The roof came out in peaces. I used 1.5kg polyester to fix that

Also got the wheels at this point and test fitted to se what tires to use

I then placed an order for 225/40-18 in front and 245/40 18 in the back.

The brakeligt inside the car had to go. I replaced it with an LED outside the car under the roof line.

The rear window needed to be glued in so the Quarter windows had to go.

Then I cracked one and had to order new ones from Fierowarehouse. (Got them 3 days before the show)
The peace behind the seats have found it´s way back in the car

The roof gets some foam before the fake leather. You can se how small my garage is

Old wheels cleaned and sold to a SFF member

New ones have tires on

I was not sure of the result when the car was in the small garage but then it was to late to change. The wheels looks great but if they are right for the car was hard to se.

One more piece ready on the door

And I had to try it out

Vents in the right place

Fixing the vents in the right place with some home made "stuff" (Polyester resin mixed with filler dust...)

Still needs a lot of filler before paint but the drilled hole are gone and is now a small bump in the peace that you don´t se.

Some pieces getting some paint

The roof is back in, getting ready

Cleaned up the enginebay a bit when the decklid was back on the car. Some black paint and new wires + a new Fiero sticker on the intake

Before, I don´t want any bling inside the car

After some paint and a custom made sticker

Some more progress inside

LEDs and som paint made the interior light look good and modern

And then I saw the LED mod people here did on the sidemarkes so I had to do that. (6 LEDs now but will be 9 when I get new ones)
Before

After

Easy and cheap

Almost done with the door

I tried some different ways of making the interior peaces. First wood. Then I made some papper tests but the fastest and most easy way was Bonocell
Bonocell

You can se how easy I get the curve from the rear to the front
Then I made som more peaces and made this

And the sides used for a center consol

Yes, I used polyester resin on them

Only fiberglass left. The bonocel and gelcoat are now in the trashcan

Looks like a small fiero seat?

I used some kind of elastic material for the next step. That was not so good but I had to go on...

A lot of fiberglass. Will get rid of the bonocell on this one to

Starting to se what the result should look like

Before and after. The before was already short...

Also made a difference in the lower part to make the stroke shorter

Works fine. More distinct movement.
Final testfit before I fixed the blue peace in the door

At this point I started the VDC job. So people could se what I have done in the car.

First time open after cuting, welding............

Test fit fender and outer doorskin from my other car that will be a Widebody choptop

The car 2 days before I need to be ready. And the lokal paper stoped by.
The Interior was still out. And the driver seat...

This was the first time I saw the wheels on the car from a distance. And yes, I made the right choise

From this point on I did not have time for pictures...
I had problems with the LED:s I placed in the door. 2 of 4 was shorted so the cables burned up. Find the fault and start over...
I had the dash inside the car 15:45 the same day I should drive the car to the show. (Day before the show opened for public.
At 16:00 the dash was out and painted black
At 18:00 the dash was on it´s way back in
At 18:40 I got a call asking if I was on my way. Deadline to get the car in was 22:00
This picture was taken 19:45, a final check arround the car before I drove it 60km to the show. I look like hell. No shaving time here...
I am a bit blur because I am running arround the car.

21:30 Still some things that need to be done. I had 2 hours before the show opened on friday. Time for some sleep

The DAY

LEDs working. Placed a fuse to avoid a fire 10 min before the show opened...

The interior more or less ready...

Any questions or if there are more pictures you like let me know.
(The passanger door did not get ready because the material was out of stock at the dealer 2 days before the show.)

Yeah Shark,

If you could give a little more detailed information and pictures of how you went about setting up and installing the LEDs on the bottom of the lambo doors that would be great !
