Driving into work this am, guy pulls into my lane from a road on the left, then stops even though the road was clear in front of him. I hit the stoppy things but car slid into rear of his so technically my fault.
On the good side, the car was one of those pimp my ride chevies with humongous wheels and rubber band tires and all jacked up so my car pretty much just slid under the back of his.
A couple of bolts on his underside scored nice gouges down my hood but otherwise no damage. He wasn't bothered and mine is just under liability ins so all out of my pocket anyway so after a quick look we just went on our ways.
Looks like I am going to have to do the hood now after all (lots of small surface scratched and clear coat gone anyway).
What's best thing to fill in the scratches and gouges and will whatever I use cure in these temps (20F ish)?
