It seems like most if not all of the low profile headlight setups are HID. I think it would be cool if someone made a low profile setup that would accept shorter headlights like doublec4's but are not HID. I would be interested if someone made a kit to do something like that.

Yes. Fiero1Fan and I make a low profile pop-up bracket that accepts the Hella 90MM High and Low beam modules (one of each per side for a total of four lamps) that use the 65 Watt Halogen H9 Lamps...

Yeah I saw those, they look sweet but they are too pricey for me. I guess what I meant was does anyone make a low profile setup that uses a smaller stock type headlight that is rectangular?

Yeah that is what im looking for, basically a shorter stock look.

I would like to keep the wiring simple and stock looking as well.

Yes they are. Hella makes them with DOT approval. As long as the fixture is solid and does not move when the vehicle is in motion (as in wiggle or shake), then they pass DOT certification.
These are true DOT approved lamps.

I agree... I really like these but they just cost to much. Somewhere on here someone did a cool set... Let me find it.

Here you go. If he made a set of these I'd buy them in a second.

Thanks

I'll send you a pm back. I'll be honest though, Fierofan's buckets are way better quality. I kind of just made mine up as I went along. The adjustibility on mine is pretty limited for aiming. They look like they could be stock though.
