WHO'D BE INTERESTED in one last cruise for the season? Oct 18th tentatively...with a rain out date the following Sunday....

...say to a Niagara Area Winery Tour or something similar? a fall tour type thing...
likely the Sunday after Thanksgiving..

I need a show of hands so Lothar & I can then organize one last hurrah for 2009...the year that wasn't, well , sort of.

oops, Cliff, can move to Events forum if wanted...thanks.

IF WE HAVE a good show of hands, Lothar & Fran have generously offered to invite all to their place for breakfast before we head out for the cruise... :-D

so far we have 6 yeses!!!

Lothar, any preferential time for breakfast? we can then decide on an approx roll out time from there.....

& bump....

I would say, my place at 9:00AM, as we did last year, if that's ok with everyone. Then we can visit for a while. I think we headed out around 11:AM, and if I remember, we ended up at Murphy's in Port Dalhousie around 2:PM for lunch. I think I should mention that if they are calling for bad weather (RAIN, SNOW etc.), we should probably cancel. I'm sure no-one wants to go in these conditions, I know I don't. Let's hope for the best....Lothar

Heading towards Niagara after going over the Burlington Skyway, take the second exit (Fruitland Road). Follow Fruitland Road south towards the escarpment until you get to the traffic lights at Hwy #8. Turn right on Hwy#8 and go to the next set of lights (Dewitt Road). Turn left on Dewitt Road, heading towards the escarpment. Turn left at the second street on your left (Midway), then turn right at the next street (Seville Court), and it's # 10. There ya go.....Lothar

I'll be in Toronto that day with the Fiero, but won't be able to make a cruise :{

My wife and I are in town for a speaker and will be staying at the Crowne Plaza Friday night.

What, no pictures of the engagement party or the wedding?

It was a great day and got alot of attention at both stops on the cruise. People commenting "Look Fieros!" then taking out there camera's for pictures of us pulling into the vineyards. I think the one photographer was too busy taking more pictures of us then the engagement party he was supposed to be doing.

Sue and I had an. . . eventful day what with having to install 2 new front tires and all. However we had a great time as usual and it was heartwarming to see all you guys come meet us at the Canadian Tire Store. Sorry we missed out on the earlier events but the rest of the day made up for it. Hopefully we'll see you at the next one. *keeping fingers crossed that there is a next one*
