Some time next week I will have about 30 of the new aluminum housing/double seal Getrag slave cylinders in hand. Anyone that would like to have one should contact me so I can ship them out as soon as they are here for those that need them and have been waiting for them. Price is $79.95 plus shipping. That price is less than the poor quality cast iron slaves in the market today. These are top quality. They are complete with a new bleeder and push rod.

They will not be on my web page. I will have a new web page we are working on and they will be on my new web page (hopefully in a few weeks) . Once these 30 are sold it may be a few weeks or longer before I will have more. Call or email me.

The slaves are here. Look just like the preproduction sample I received a while back but the piston is plated and the push rod is plated. I have no doubt they will be top quality. For those that ordered them I ship again on Wed. Priority Mail. Should be there this Friday/Sat. Will have about 18 on hand yet if anyone wants one.

The slaves shipped yesterday for those that preordered. Hoping to hear some feedback as soon as possible. I have no doubt they will be top quality but before I commit to starting on the Isuzu/V-6 4 speed slaves I would like to see these in use for a while.

Realizing that my payment was sent via USPS and it is a check so I don't expect the part to arrive quite as fast. If it's here by August 15th, I'll have it available for everyone to see for the Bluegrass Fieros Cookout/Table Dancing and Lying Contest. Never know, someone may have a need. BTW Rodney, you're invited.

I don't have a Getrag but:

If these are as good or better than the original 84 aluminum slave cyl that came on that year's muncie, you will get years and years and years of trouble free service from them. I changed from a Wagner cast iron slave cyl back to a used alum unit, and have had zero problems with it since installation in 2004.

I think this is going to be the best new product ever intorduced for our Fieros.

I got 2 of them from Rodney today & it's exciting to think of how many clutch problems these are going to save.

I haven't installed one yet, only bought a couple at this time to keep on the shelf for when I need them.

Thanks Rodney, You've outdone yourself on this one.

Untill rodney has a replacement for the V6 4 speed slave ,,use the 86 MR 2 piston a direct drop in.... it has 2 seals and only $10.00 for the rebuild kit,, use your old spring and the new MR 2 piston,, the 2 seal piston revived my old slave ..

Just get the MR2 slave rebuild kit from advance,, autozone and others ,,it is 1/3rd the price of the stock fiero rebuild kit ..

Thank you gtu300r

They have told me the seals may not be compatable with DOT 5 and 5.1. This is only because they have not done any testing with these new fluids.

Any idea if 1 of these would work with a custom-length slave cylinder pushrod? Also, I'd like to buy 1 sometime for my 88GT .
