Well I did the unthinkable...let my neighbors son use my 4.9 GT for prom. He is a responsible kid and he was going to have to go in his beater. I had a company detail it so it would look great and dropped it around his as a surprise. A couple of pics...

If he brings it back, can I borrow it for a run down to this little town called Carlisle, PA? edit to add: That's a nice gesture and all, but I don't think I'd have posted that as my six-hundreth and sixty-sixth post....

It was placed in his parents garage at 1am...he didn't want to take the chance of something happening to it so he had a friend follow him home and drop it off...then they went out for after-prom! Nice...She is sitting there as shiny as I gave it to him, no tickets, and more gas than I gave it to him with!

Haha.. About 10 years ago I did a very similar gesture, I borrowed my Mustang GT to my neighbors son for prom and he is realy a great kid.. He did get a speeding ticket for going 5mph over the limit that night and its funny you mention the "no tickets" comment.. I am sure he got pulled over to check for drinking though since the police are out in full force on prom nights looking for reasons to check for under aged drinking..
Man he was so happy driving a cool car on prom and he still mentions it from time to time since I still see him around..

LOL...He is a bit, shall we say, excentric. He is an incredible artist..painting a picture of a motorcycle racer for me as we speak. I haven't gotten to speak with him at all so I will try to get over there and ask him if he got pulled and checked...and i will make sure to mention the bit about the elevators to...Musac anyone???

I gota ask, why does he look like hes the kid that will be operating the elevator at the hotel down the street? :P
Hmm, I'm thinking more like,...."Herman's Hermits," a cool look IMO with tappered pants legs pointed boots (shoes) and mop like hair-doo (geezs, I must be really old).
