Join us in the beautiful mountains of Tehachapi for the 12th annual Thunder on the Mountain Car and Truck Show. The car show will be held on Sunday, August 16, the weekend of the Tehachapi Mountain Festival.

The car show will have several classes in which you can enter your Fiero:
- Pontiac
- Fiero
- Pro Street
- Under Construction
- Stock Car 70 and Up
- Competition Race Car

There will be only 300 entries allowed in the show and you need to enter ASAP to assure yourself of a slot. The entry fee is only $30.

Chris West of West Coast Fiero will have about 15 bunkhouse style beds available on a first come first served basis.

The beautiful Tehachapi Valley is an oasis located in the mountains between the San Joaquin Valley and the Mojave Desert, offering a cool haven from the arid desert heat and the sprawling lowlands of the valley. Featuring sparkling blue skies that turn into star filled nights with unending depth, the beauty of Tehachapi is seen in every setting.

Tehachapi:
- Is at 4,000 feet and very pleasant in the spring and summer
- Is scenic and has some excellent curvy roads all over the place for an outing
- Has nice moderately priced hotels; we will try to arrange a special rate at one or more of the local hotels for attendees.

Tehachapi is:
- 447 miles from Phoenix
- 325 miles from San Francisco
- 246 miles from Las Vegas
- 232 miles from San Diego
- 157 miles from Orange County
- 136 miles from Riverside
- 115 miles from Los Angeles
- 40 miles from Bakersfield

Doing 2800 miles in a Fiero is like trying to swim to the moon LOL
And if you get tired whitin a 100 miles don't turn back keep on going .
