Finally someone came out with one. But I am going to recover mine instead of paying $200.00+
Been there done that, my headliner will probably be good for a few years. FS incured some expence in R&D and manufacturing, they need to see a few bucks as payback for their troubles IMHO. 2 years ago I bought Old Stock Dew Whipes for $50 a side from GM Direct. See where that product has gone? When the demand is there for a product, I commend FS, Rodney Dickman, Steph's, and all, and I mean all. others that help to supply our community.

I just talked to the tech at the Fiero store and he said that the hole for the sunroof is already cut out, it`s just the material that is stretched across the headliner. You just cut out where the sunroof goes, leaving about 3" of material all of the way around, tuck it in with the trim ring and then cut off the excess.

Tim, I have a fiberglass headliner which I covered in vinyl and this one looks pretty much the same except it is ABS. Really the only thing that holds the headliner in place is the side trim pieces, the coat hooks in the back, the overhead light and the visors. The only mistake I made was not leaving enough material to tuck into the trim that runs around the sunroof, so I had to pull mine pretty tight.

New ABS Plastic Headliners
The Fiero Store is proud to release the easiest headliner replacement available for your Fiero. Each backing is made from ABS vacuum formed plastic and has been pre-covered with factory style material. Simply remove your factory unit and install the new one without worrying about glue or fiberglass cutting. ABS plastic is also very consistent in thickness for a more uniform fit and finish. Available in many colors and combinations. ABS Headliners are currently only available for cars with sunroofs. Non-sunroof units will be available soon.
It's a good idea, but I decided to go with the vinyl instead of the factory foam/cloth. I don't ever want to replace it again. I hate it when they start falling down.
I'm definitly doing the ABS Headliner for my '88 GT. I'd rather spend $209 than $99 for the fiberglass headliner and then another $70 for the material only to screw it all up messing around with glue and possibly wrinkling it...

I installed the ABS Headliner from the Fiero Store last night and the fit is perfect.
Every hole/cut-out was perfectly placed.. it was as close to "bolt-on" as you can get.
High quality - looks good. Deliverd to my home in 5 days from placing order! (shipped from factory)
Rarely have I purchased a pre-cut item of any kind that actually fit... but this one did. It was freezing last night and I worked in the dark with a flashlight... thank goodness the darn thing fit nicely. Even the sunvisor and coat hanger holes were spot on. If any part of the liner was not perfectly cut it would be a nightmare to get into place.
I highly recommend this product.

Stephs? what is this "Stephs" you speak of. a fiero parts vendor?>
I too have installed a headliner, from The Fiero Store.
Ordered the Saddle colored unit, for my '85 SE with the sunroof cutout. Put it in, one sunny June Saturday afternoon. Took about 2 hours, including replacing the sunroof gasket, as well.
One tip that isn't mentioned, in the instructions. Clean off the top part of the interior panels, that the seatbelt anchors bolt thru. I had a little mildew and dust, that rubbed a stain onto the new headliner, when I put the trims back into place. Cleaned up with some Folex carpet stain remover, and the finished product really made my interior look new again.
The fit and finish were really terrific.
I considered recovering the old one, but it was pretty trashed and rotten.
