Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums and this will be my first post. About 4 months ago I got my hands on a sweet little Fiero I couldn't pass up. It's a completely stock 88 Formula with only 86k on the clock. Just needs a fresh paint job which I'm working on now! Picked this little baby up for $1800! Not bad, eh?

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. But most of all, thanks to that awesome gentleman Rocky. I picked up this awesome little gem from him. I promise I'll bring it down to visit once she's painted! Trying to get that done this week, actually. She's well taken care of. =)

Very nice car and I hope you bring it to the 25th, just one thing. I am a purest of bone stock fieros especially 88, so just to let you know the 88 rear deck lid is off a 87 or 86 or 85, because it has the metal tin that the ground strap is connected to. In 88 they molded the nickle coated graphite (NCG) and the sheet molded compound (SMC) together for the first time and did not need the tin pan anymore. ( I know I should get a life, but just trying to preserve the excitement) That probably means that the deck lid wing had been ripped off at one time or rear of car had been hit, look for vin tags stickers on rear deck lid and rear fascia behind lic. plate.
That's nice to know, I suppose. I went into this purchase knowing more than the average person about Fiero's, but I've still got a lot more to learn about these unique little guys. I don't mind if the rear decklid is different, the rest is straight as an arrow and drives perfect. Then again I'm not a bone stock aficionado. =)

The decklid was replaced by the guy I purchased it from. The old one had a paint issue (that is what he told me) and he had a guy repaint a decklid and spoiler and swapped it out. The vin sticker does not match the rest of them. You can tell by looking that the paint on the rear lid was better then the rest when you look at it.
Thanks Scott for the compliment. I would love to see it after the paint job. You got my number.
