I have a 1988 Fiero Formula (Notchaback) and looking for alternative rear wing spoiler. I am looking for a duck tail spoiler type or the Mustang Shelby GT500 kind. I like the 2nd generation camaro type, but I believe only the center piece will fit, but not the end caps. I was wondering if anyone else have tried something different. If you can share picture will be appreciated. Thanks

if you're not gonna change any other bodywork (gfx and such), i like the imsa as an alternative to the stock wing. someone else will have to show a pic though. a smaller looking version of the stock wing isn't too bad either, like off a firebird. or maybe one from a dodge shadow. a stock forumla is a pretty basic shape so you don't want some battlestar galactica looking something hanging off the back if it's the only body change you're planning.
quick edit, 'cause the wrap-around raydar showed is what i meant by imsa.

The wrap around is too fancy for me.. I am looking for something more discreat.. The bow tie from a camaro is great, but I don't believe it will fit a notchback. I believe it only fits on a fastback. Thanks
The small wraparound spoilers above came from a Dodge Shadow or Plymouth Sundance, or one of the variants. I always thought they looked like an understated IMSA tail. (I'll admit... the IMSA is a bit much for some people.)
I've always like the dodge shadow/plymouth one the best. However, if could stand to be widened a couple inches and possible set back an inch or two to look perfect.
I find that the Sundance spoiler could be worked on a bit too. The air spaces under it are very functional for my scoop, however they are not easy to clean. I think the design could be easily modified and still not change the foot print of the spoiler which fits the GT notchy deck perfectly, right down to a groove which lines up with the deck seam.
Yeap, I liked the Dodge/Plymoth Sundance better than the IMSA. However, can someone post pictures of the Camaro bow tie on a notchie... I seen it done on a fastback, but was wondering if possible on a notchie. Also, I wondering if the 2005 Mustang Shelby GT500 rear spoiler will fit the Fiero Notchie back????
