Anybody know? My guage says 15 threads per inch, but what is the diameter? I am making custom shift knobs, and need to buy the inserts for our cars. I hate the set screw type. Pics and info to come! And they will be CHEAP!!!!!

You're using the wrong gauge. The threads are metric. M16 x 1.5 is the size.
