My presonal funds are running too low and the Fiero is being pushed to the side. All thats left to be done is some small odds and ends, pain, and exhaust. I can no longer continue this project all alone, so someone please take this headache far far away.

Yeah, that's the one. How is it he's registered as FocusRush and FOSD (James)? Any other aliases?
Sorry if I'm a little critical, I don't think this guy is a crook (unlike some in this forum.) I do think he overestimated what he could do and underestimated the work involved. Simply, bit off more than he could chew, and now he's choking. I'm not suggesting anything to anyone, but if the car were iin Sacramento instead of Virginia, I'd drive the 130 mi. (each way) to help get the damn car done and gone.
I'm sure this whole deal is a source of great pain for James, witness how he doesn't respond to postings and he's abandoned one username already. He's had to endure some pretty wicked criticism, too, as well as some rather tough questions to his military commanders.
It certainly is painful for those who contributed money and materials, and for those of us who have done business with Ed Parks, Rodney Dickman, Mr. Mikes, the Fierostore, and others, and have fairly high opinions of those vendors. (I haven't contributed, btw.)
This should serve as a source of caution for the future. With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, it was a nice idea, fixing up a car and raffling or auctioning it off--just ill advised and poorly conceived and executed. It would have been better if more than one person were involved or someone with more rresources.

Why not just wash the car and give it to someone already. There are a lot of cars out there that are not 100% and anyone that has lost a car will probably already have a new one by now. I think its time to give this one away, the new owner can then hook up with a local club and finish it.

I'll have to put my foot down and say that it should still go to somone who lost one to the hurricane, since that was the original intent. Who cares if it's not a supercar when they get it, that was never the point. Anyone have a list of people who lost a pegasus to the wind during the hurricane last year?
How about 4.9 PFI Fiero. He lost his an as far as I know hasn't been able to replace it yet.
This is the stuff! But get all the Fiero owners on the forum who lost a car and have not yet replaced it together. Have someone on the forum we all trust (like Cliff if he is willing) get their names together and then draw from a hat. Heck, most of the Fiero owners in the WORLD are on this forum anyway (those with internet anyway). Doesn't matter if the car is done or not, if I were in that position I would be in tears if the forum members and vendors did this for me

Joe came and got the car and all of the parts I had. I know this will get done sooner or later, and I will still be thought of as a "Criminal" so leave me alone, stop calling my command, it's out of my hands. If I wanted to be a jerk about it, I would have taken back all of the parts that I put on it that I paid for like the $300+ wheels and tires, struts, steeringwheel, fender, aux. garges, trunk carpet, and a bunch of ther parts. I don't think a criminal would let all of that just drive away with someone they barely know.
Anyways, I'm just ranting and I feel like a big burden has been lifted from me. I hope it gets done soon and someone is happy with it.

Kid, you tried. You took on a huge project. I couldn’t afford to offer my services for free the way you did. And even if I had, I don’t know that I would have had the car ready to go by now. (sometimes you have to work on paying jobs to put food on the table)
From what I have read, you just ran out of time, opportunity, and steam. The only thing I will fault on is not communicating every step of the way. Rack this up as a learning experience.
Good luck to you in your future endeavors and all the best to your family.
