Hey guys! Been a bit busy, so I hadn't posted in awhile, but I found out through the grapevine that some of you guys were looking for fiero videos. So since we'd had some long, lost footage lying around---our club put together a little somethin' somethin' for everyone. Original footage from Daytona 2005! We originally thought it was lost and all messed up, so we had to spend hours painstakingly restoring it and added a little "dash" here and there to liven it up and bring to the PFF faithful. (Some of the footage is a bit jumpy....couldn't do anything about that...but it's all good stuff.)
Here are some snapshots from the footage, along with the links to view the video. The video is hosted on gigashare, but some of the files are a bit large, so it might take some time to load up. I found that it works better to let it load completely before you start playing. After it loads, if it doesn't start playing automatically or when you hit play; just hit reload, then hit play again. (At least that's what works on my computer.) If it doesn't work, let me know. And if you guys have another hosting source, let me know that too just in case we need it.
Oh, and don't forget to turn up your sound so you can hear all the details! (Video of cars just isn't the same without sound effects, right? LOL)
We edited the tape into 6 parts to make it easier to view (trying to keep you dialup people in mind, although I'm not sure if it'll make much of a difference anyway) One of the videos is about 19MB, and the others are between 3MB and 9MB, so hopefully it'll work okay.
If any of you recognize yourself or the cars, please post and let us know who you are. We identified some of the cars that we knew, but there were lots more that we didn't have the info for, so your help would be appreciated!
Check it out, you can right click and DL those videos there. I did a little "sniffin' around" with GOOGLE, and came up with a pretty neat way that you can check out the position of the links that are being hosted there on the GIGASHARE servers.
Enjoy w/o the hassle of the DL and re-DL when you are wanting to watch it again. Also, seems that they will only allow you to DL two vids at a time this way, but hey, it's still on the way!

It's like Christmas and the 4th of July all rolled into one. (Or Victoria Day for the Canadians, everyone else pick your favorite holiday )
I had almost forgotten how much work went into that all natural shot of three chop tops. A big "+" to mcaanda although I can't get the direct links to work. The effort was really appreciated. It looks like I need to get some more harrdrive space if Miss Tress starts posting these slick videos.
Nice video. I just looked at the first one, I'll check out the others latter. I saw you had a shot of Phil's Yellow Formula with the Buick SC engine and the nitrous fed mouse up front. I guess you didn't see the nitrous tank on it's back.

I spliced all the videos together into one and added a Pink Floyd sound track in place of the running commentary. Hope you don't mind. Hey at least I included "Welcome to the machine".

ok i had to dig this up. I finally found this thread and i cant get to any of the videos Anybody able to help me out? I really want to see if my car is in one of the shots
