Anyone up for for meeting in Greensboro, NC on July 23 or 30? Thought we would meet at the NASCAR Cafe right off of I-40.

I'm going to go ahead and make it for July 23 at 1:00pm. I'll get in touch with the manager at the resturant and mall security (My f-body club had a problem with mall security until our club president talk with the head of security, everything was cleared up. We meet there on the first and third Thursdays of the month).

No, its the one in Greensboro, NC, not Myrtle Beach. It would be nice to go there though.

Good point. It was on the Greensboro page when I copied the URL, but the URL doesn't change when you select a new location.
Try this for a direct link: http://www.nascarcafe.com/htdocs/visitus/greensboro.html

WHAT?!?! What happened?

But, Jack, unless it's in the shop getting painted, don't let that stop you from coming. If I didn't show up because my paint wasn't perfect, no one would know I even exist.

Here are the directions to the resturant:

From I-40
Take exit 217 (High Point Road - Koury Blvd.)

From I-85 South
Exit to I-40 West then exit 217

From I-85 North
Take exit 122B, then I-40 West, then exit 217

If your heading down I-40 west, when you take exit 217 there will be a ramp that says Koury Blvd, take that ramp to the left and when you get to the stoplight take a left.

Damage not too bad. I was parked in the parking lot of drug store and inside picking up drugs for my wife. I came out and the paint on the left front corner of the chin spoiler was cracked and white paint on the spoiler and black on the lower moulding of the spoiler. Just have to remave all the paint and repaint the spoiler. The hardest job is removing and installing the front spoiler. I have done it so many times I have about wore the bolts out. If I takr it off my painter says $100 bucks. Oh-the white jeep parked to the side and behind me was gone . Wonder why!

I will try to be there by 1:00 - I've got a couple things to do first thing Saturday morning that I'm not 100% sure how long they will take me, but if I can get ready to head towards Greensboro before noon, then I'll be seeing you guys.

If I'm unable to come, don't worry about me - I'll see you guys at the next one.

1 PM should work nicely. I've got some work to do on my father's Mercury that I'm going to try to get finished before the freaking heat kicks into overdrive. That should give me time to clean up and get there around 1-ish.

Doesn't look like I'm gonna make it. Still too much to get done today and not enough time to do it.
Things should settle down in a few weeks, though. I'll catch everyone next time.

Have fun, and take pictures!!

PS, anybody want to come to High Point some time and help me troubleshoot an electrical problem?
