3 more days! I had a great time last year, so I'm really looking forward to this year. We even got our old spot back on the top of the hill. Everyone in GGF (Golden Gate Fieros) or at least on the mailing list should've gotten the details via email from John (fierobear) long ago.
I'm posting mostly with regard to the caravans. As far as I know, theres one meeting in Hayward and another in San Francisco, or near there, both around 8am. Thats all well and good for people in the Bay Area, but some of us aren't that close. I would have to leave my house at 6:30 to make it to one of those on time, which isn't happening because I have to work until after midnight on saturday. Last year, I met up with Toddster at his place and we went up and picked up Brian and his wife and Kelvin in San Jose and caravaned from there.
So what I'm asking is, do you south bay/south of the bay area people want to do something like that again? I know theres several club members in San Jose, as well as some south of there (like me). Is there someplace in San Jose we can all meet up and caravan from, or you all just want to do your own thing and we'll see you at the track?

Im all for meeting up with the southbay guys over here (like you, Kelvin and Michael) but what was said in the meeting was that we would all meet at the Serramonte Shopping Center (in Daly City) on sunday morning. This is because it wouldnt make sense for the SF area members to drive down to the southbay when were heading northward. I dont see why we cant caravan to a caravan though, but we would still need to be at the Serramonte Center about (9:00-9:30) That is, unless we want to have our own seperate caravan. (Personally, I think the bigger the better) Roy was/is supposed to post the directions on the GGF website but I havent seen it yet (need to check it again).
One things for sure...I dont want to go by myself. Kit (86 GT)

I e-mailed the info to John & Mary and told them to pass it on to the people on the Peninsula & the South Bay. Meet at Wells Fargo Bank in Serramonte shopping center between 8:80 & 9:00.
Well my son and I will be attending, and will be among the Serramonte group.

I'm with you.
I talked to Chris West this morning, and he might change the BBQ to a different weekend next summer. He and I will coordinate schedules better next year.
Yeah!!!!!!! Thats the way ah huh ah huh I like it ah huh ah huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I fixed my clutch !!!! Yeah
I bleed it and bleed it to no end and it just got worse.Took all the seals apart cleaned everything to no avail.Change the slave out....nothing changed the master out and still nothing.Half a gallon of fluid later i get pissed!!! Got the comperessor on line pulledf off the master cylinder line and pumped 120 freaking pounds to the slave end of the line.Got just a little bit of escaping air.I then attached air line directly threaded and left it there for about five minutes. After a bit slowly a long line of crude starts coming out the it went pop and it shot out like a gun.I ran some alcohol through the line and then pressure bled it with the machine.Put about a pint through the line tightened it all down and i got clutch.WOO HOOO!!!!! Im covered in brake fluid running an hour behind still need to shower and change so im going to forget about washing the car.I have an hour and 5 minutes to get to sears pointe and I still have not found my ticket!!! Oh yeah and i still need to heat up the ribs. I think I can make it if i drive a little faster than normal.
Well there was a really good turn out for this event. We had a great time.
If anyone wants any of these pics in full resolution, email and I will see if I can send them to you. I have to crop them quite a bit to fit with the PIP. But I keep all the originals backed up.
Serramonte Mall Parking Lot.
If I counted correctly there were 26 Fieros at the event..
Thanks Claude and Kathleen and John and Mary for another great day at the races! Food, friendship, fun, and Fieros were all GREAT!! Next year we need to buy that guy running the wind machine some beer and tell him to take the afternoon off though!!! Hope everyone made it home okay!

Actually my wife took that picture because she thought they were very nice. She made sure I included that picture.
