Ok I was wondering if we could all work together to post all the Fiero information we could. I was reading another thread, and was fascinated about the other types of Fieros, like the GTU and etc. I wanna learn more about the "special" Fieros like the IMSA, and just about stock ones. I hope to add all the information(and pics ) in this thread to my own personal collection and that it helps others. Anything from stock information, to the "special" fieros, to the modded fieros and well known ones today like Madcurls or Skitimes Fieros. Basically anything Fiero history and neat. Post pictures with the post if you would please, but information is still valuable. Thanks & I hope this thread helps a lot of people.

Josh

Man in hind sight I should have done my history thesis on the fiero and "plastic" cars. I would have titled it, "the little plastic car that could"

Wow neat pictures, keep em coming everyone.

So what year(s) did the IMSA, Indy Racing Fiero, and any other special models run? Could someone(s) tell me that info please?? I'm trying to document all this cool Fiero history for myself & pictures. Also information on stuff like the 89 Prototype, and any stock fieros to mention that were special or rare. Thanks

Maybe you have seen these, or maybe you haven't. If not, pick yourself up a copy of Gary Witzenburg's "Fiero" which is an official history of the car from development to demise. It has some IMSA and racing Fiero info in it too. Fierostore has them.

The Fierostore also has a book which is a compolation of all of GM's press releases related to the Fiero every year they made it, and again includes a lot of info on Fiero racing.

I'll go check that out. I'll have to order those books. But to keep the thread alive and fun. Keep posting any pictures of IMSA, and other "special" or rare Fieros. Please list there name too. Cause I get confused on which is the GTU or GTO or w/e its labeled as?? Thx.
