Tell your friend that the fiero isn't a drag car to begin with, it'd be better prepped for a race track then a drag strip. ANYWAY... on archies website their's a v8 fiero with nos that runs in the 10's. There's also been some front engine cars that break the 10's as well.

How much money do you want to spend to go fast? There are more economical ways of doing it. The Fiero is all about handling... though top speed can be attained with swaps and the like.

ANY car can be made to break into the 10's. It's all in how much work needs to be done & how much $$$ you need to do it. There isnt a whole lotta cars that'll hit 10's with just bolt-ons. In general, with just bolt-ons, you looking at 15's. with turbo or nitrous, 13's. Do you know any cars in the 10's? real 10's, not someone saying it will - thats usually BS - and rarely street legal.

My dads camaro ran a best of a 9.62 at the strip... Well.. Its not really stock either. lol 1981 Camaro 454, bored over to 467 with a 9'' Ford rear, 4:56 gear ratio I believe. That thing is a monster. The interior was stripped on the car durning this run, its street legal, and its a full metal car :P Got to love Detroit muscle!
i'm pretty sure its real, the shadows and everything are right, but it'd have to be a front engine fiero, those wheels would go almost to the middle of the car!! dang
I'm sure this Fiero could run some very respectable ETs
yes its real, the car use to be in MN. i saw it at Car Craft a few times. its a pretty cool car. its a front engine beast now. you can ask some of the other MN people, im sure they ahve seen it
edit, the car now i believe i heard is soemwhere like new york or somthing. but dont quote me on that.
tim, shoulda made it up to a car craft show a few years ago, then you would know for sure!

Mine is definatly not the fastest but for a series 1 and a daily driver, I believe it is pretty damn quick. I have not had a chance to make it to a 1/4 mile track yet and not real sure how accurate the 1/8-1/4 calcs are but shows it should run around 11.92 I am just waiting to get my series 2 finished and see what it will do. http://members.cardomain.com/l67fiero

11.92 w/ a Series I Supercharged? What all have you done to it? I don't see how it could run an 11.92 with a Series I Supercharged motor but maybe you have some crazy mods and lots of nitrous.

Yeah, that's Dan's old car. Sold it for around 2O grand, or at least that what he was asking for. Greg took it for a spin last year, fast car. Well done too. Spool in the rear end ... Real good if you want to go straight, lousy if you were ever to want to turn a corner.
That probably explains why he never took me up on my offer of running the two against each other.
