BTW, this is with 90 degree temps and he had his street exhaust on. Since then he has made a race only exhaust and turned in 114mph trap speeds with just the swap. He did spin a bit too.

Mr. Pat, install some Kloyds noisy timing gear sets in place of your timing chain on your SBC, available from Summit of Jeggs, they'll give you a sound very close to the supercharge wine. Summit has their own design:
http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=esearch .asp&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=Cam+Timing+Gear+Sets&x=16&y=7

Go to page 4 when link loads.

R-Click, save target as, save it to desktop (or wherever)...It should show up as a valid .WMV file on the desktop...(I don't know why it says it's saving itself as a .txt, but it works for me)..

Real nice run LilDevil, you had the guy wasted by half track, looks like he was starting to pull hard near the finish.

Video did download and play even though it appeared to be saving as a text file, thanks Brad for the suggestion to let it load that way.

Mr. Pat, the only thing you should worry about is talking to Tech Support to be sure you get the right set for your engine. Other than that you might get tired of the noise It is a more precise timing setup!!!

Note to others posting help on downloading video, if you could edit your post to delete 'help' to clear up his post, it would be appreciated.

i've heard of some people having problems with the timing gear sets due to harmonic imbalance caused at higher rpms. its hard on the valvetrain because of the vibrations. just something to think about.

Kudos, LilDevil, it was nice of your cameraman to pull in tight enough to get a shot of the timer boards, too. Helluva run.

Pat,
Your not goin to be able to use it most likely. They set off enough noise to give your Knock sensor false readings. Good in a carb'd motor though.

I'm pretty sure you can't run those with a computer controlled car. It can/will set off the knock sensor. Correct me if I'm wrong - anyone.
