Yeah, I was racein in the cross F*** injection again. My buddy jesse at work comes up to me and goes "Allright Ben....your 84 vette VS my 84 RX-7....lets see whos king of 84...just got a new exhaust and tires, and I'm gonna burn on your domey ass!!" I of course, have tell him that it IS an 84 and that I'll probably lose. But anyways, here it goes! -

84 vette VS 84 RX-7
First, was from a stop. Neither one of us had a working horn (my fuse burnt out honking at this stupid SUV to move and his had been ripped out) so on his 3rd rev we hammered it. He got me off the line, but I pulled on him top-end. YAAAAAAY!!! ^_^ Then we went from a 50MPH roll, he pulled a car length on me, then I just started pullin on him. At the next light, we both got out to shake hands. "Fine automobile you've got there....I'm gonna run home with my tail between my legs. Damn good race, Ben!" And we shaked hands and went our separate ways. ::PLEASE NOTE:: Allmost all races are preformed in an abandoned parkway that stretches 1/2 a mile long. Just gotta watch out for squirrels/raccoons/critters. We usually do NOT race on the open road...too dangerous. But now....the moment youve been waiting for...88 GT!!!!! ^_^

84 Vette VS 88 GT

This happend on the street en route to home. Yeah....he pulls up and goes "Sweet vette....what year?" I go "1984..." He and his blonde bimbo GF start laughing. I got angry and yelled "Hey, shut up!!! Leave me alone! WHAT YEAR IS YOUR FIERO?!" "88 GT" he goes... Then he goes "Feelin pretty lucky tonight? Full moon out, so anything can happen..." I thought in my head "I'm gonna die! gonna die, gonna die, gonna die" X__X and then I said "Sure! on green!" We both exchanged revs, then GREEN! ..............................................I didn't even have time to pee my pants....he tore off like a bat outta hell...literally. He had 10 cars on me in the time it took for me to clear 1st gear! Banditbalz runs a 15.2 with 140K on the motor. Also you assume that Homie whatever can drive that vette as well as the people that do this thing for a living for magazines. Next thing to consider is how well his daddys car runs.

Well why we are on that subject, I would also like you to not say these kind of things. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks this kind of stuff is inapropriate. I was going to address the issue in this thread, note I have an edited post. Also why you are using more appropriate language, stop with the line symbols too.

EDIT ---- Wow I sound like a major sissy. Pretty much nothing offends me, if someone uses foul language in appropriate company no biggie, I have even done it myself. On the internet however, I think there are alot of instances where it should not be found, this forum being one of them. That is the word and any iteration of it. For example you using the letter "u" to stretch the word. Also using different letters as a substitute. Examples are not necassary you figure it out.

Actually, I think the "balls" would be that he stood up to say something. He did not use profanity to do so either. This being a public forum, it is up to the occupents to decide what is deemed acceptable and what is not. I frequent other forums and cursing is allowed, they dont spell it diferent or anything. This is 99% teenage forum and it shows. Someone once posted about the cars that we had, and I told them I had a Fiero, 2 pages of defending myself and the car without profanity and one of the mods came on and apologized how the forum was acting towards someone else. Also he comented that I was nice even though abolut 25 people where using low blows to try and dog the Fiero. I pointed them to this forum, for some additional information, they all comented about how civilized it is compared to that forum. My point being, if we start finding that acceptable, then eventually other things will become acceptable also. It will be "F" this and "F" that all over the place.

The 84 vettes were dogs because of that cross fire injection crap. Also I think the emissions slowed them up.

edit: and remember many 80s cars were products of the gas crisis, like the 84 model Fiero. Remember it was passed through the GM brass as an econo-car first, sports car second. In other words it was doomed from the get go.

Seriously I have no problam with bad language, but to me a forum is like this: If you were at a church, work, people you have never met, school with your teacher, a potential customer or employer would you yell the "F" word? I wouldnt, for the simple reason all conections in life are made through networking. I got my first job because of someone my mother knew. If I had made a bad first impression with these people would I have got that job. Probably not. You are on a forum that is public, meaning anyone can read it at anytime. Is it really good taste to talk about sexual acts. Saying something on here is the same as yelling it to everyone of those people that I listed, since they could all read it.

with the current state of the internet AND TV/RADIO, I assume people have to grow someone of a "thicker skin" towards this stuff.. seriously. Advertisements use these words all the time, and I dont see people getting in trouble because a banner add says "breast" or "**** ". I believe the bar has been raised, and until you reach that level, everything is OK.

Telefragging is when someone is standing on a "teleporter" and someone beams to that spot. It can be quake1/2/3, half life, counterstrike, any of those games

It was black, loud, and scary lookin. It was an older gent with a blonde 1/2 his age at his side. Couldn't fully make out any distinguishing features on the car/ the couple, but it was night so yeah. "The Blood Moon" as they call it was out in bloom, so yeah....someone was gonna die....obviously, me since I had the slower car! :P

No, because in 1984 all Fieros were dogs too, since they came only with a 4cyl, that packed a 92hp punch. The later year vettes were more powerfull do to the lack of Cross-fire injection.

my dad must have a completely different motor then! hes got a 350 out of a 84 vette with crossfire and an auto and most if not all the emmisions are removed in his 83 T/A it will tear up a WRX once it gets traction. ill take a picture of it when my dad gets home. that car is a BEAST.
