Man, this is a non-starter! BLack text boxes, orange text, dark blue and dark grey overall colors? I can't hardly read this at all. Maybe it's my machine, I'll try rebooting, but since Cliff uses mandatory stylesheets I'm guessing it won't work...

What, you don't like the lovely "mud" color?

This bites big time. This is unuseable. I'll check back in a couple of days.

Later,

I have to agree with "bring back the old color scheme". It was fresh to see some new colors, but I'm also seeing the colors move around as I change from system to system. Here at the house the color scheme is OK, but at work the contrasts are simply not good enough to be able to read without strain. Thanks for the effort of making this look new, but let's go back to the old boring colors please.

Hmm... just read "the other post" that appears to have gotten a bit heated. It will be interesting to see if the differences between the colors I saw at work today and these I am seeing now are the results of adjustments being made to help us "old men" out. I'll be here no matter what the color scheme because the information is so valuable - and yes, I do appreciate the efforts of the administrators to freshen up the look a bit.

I personally dont see anything wrong with the colorscheme. I haven't had any troubles reading any part of the site.

Did you notice you are being extrememly rude to Cliff? I'm sure he really likes his design as do I. Constructive critisizm is one thing, but having a temper tantrum like a little kid is another.

White is just so plain old tacky and OLD net! Get with the times. heck one day this page will be all flash and you wont type you'll talk and when you surf you just listen to the post... Ahh the dawning of a new era!

Goodbye White background... Its death on the eyes when you read PFF 6 hours a day!! To each his own though. and to each his own different monitor and video card. Looks killer on mine. L8

Now time to update my Sig!

Well, I would never have said it first, but I am glad someone else did. I am in front of computer monitors all evening at work, and much of my time at home, and after today I now have a headache that doesn't feel like my usual headaches. My eyes hurt too, but like I said earlier today, I'm 46 and have presbyopia, so I don't expect the world to revolve around me.

Now if I can just get the voices to stop!

Oh great, I was coming back to edit my post, because I realized I hadn't given the new scheme a chance. I might get used to it in a few days.

I like it. Easier on the eyes. You guys that can't read it, try using another computer. It might just be your settings.

Yes, take it here.

As for bringing back the old color scheme: not a chance. And thanks for your wonderful subtle way of telling me how much you appreciate the work I'm putting in the forum. It's always good to read I'm not doing this for the cat's ass. Yes, always nice to read your work is being appreciated.
