Has about 176k on the clock. Other than the right lower ball joint and spindle being bad it drives real good. Got the parts in from the Fiero Warehouse today.....Thanks Doug , and will be installing them this weekend.

Excellent buy!

I'm kind of partial to red 88 coupes for some reason...

Congrat's & WOW, nice find! It's an 88 metalic red coupe with an Isuzu, just like Dukie. Hope you have 11 years of fun & dependable service from it like I have.

It even has Radial T/A white letter tires, just like mine. Hey, wait a minute....

Thats not metallic red is it? I thought metallic red was the more maroon color with a slight metal flake?

EDIT: forgot a word

Hard to tell from a picture. Here's my metalic red duke for comparison. It all depends on how the light hits it when you shoot the picture.

Thanks, the previous owners bought it brand new in '87 and kept it garaged all the time and kept every receipt.

On second thought mine is just plain "Bright Pontiac Red". There are no metal flakes in it.

I was thinking about that. It's chipped up pretty bad in some areas and I was thinking about going with the Redfire Metallic or Greystone that is on the GPs.

Yup. It *looks* like it was garaged.

I'll say it again: "Excellent buy!"
(Mine was garaged, too, but I paid $2K. )

Ya nice find I payed a little more for my 88 Coupe about 1200 and the clutch was gone.
however mine had only 74,000 miles on the odometer. Looks like yours is leaking coolant from the front left might want to check out the Radiator hose on that side to see if it needs replaced or tightened.
Mine is now starting to leak from the waterpump so I will be replacing that soon

Yeah, I've got to check that out also. It also looks like the clutch is about ready to go but I'll replace that when I have the cradle down. Will be transplanting in a 3400 from a Firebird this winter and possibly a Getrag from an 88 Beretta.
