Well now that that worked, time for some info about my car and me. I have been checking out this forum for over 4 years, but haven't done a lot of posting.
She is a '85 Fiero GT with a little over 96,000 miles on her. I took delivery of her on June 11, 1985, just 3 days before my 21st birthday. I still have the window sticker showing a sticker price of $13,222. The only options other than the GT package were the sunroof, wing and air conditioning. I have only driven her one in the Wisconsin winter, and that was during a move and the roads were clear.
I still has the original belts and hoses. Everything on the engine is original with the exception of the distributor and catalytic converter.
I finally replaced the front brakes about 2,000 miles ago. The rear are still the original pads as well as all the rotors.
The air conditioning still blows as cold as when she was new, even though it has never been recharged.
Unfortunately, the nose was replaced after a minor traffic accident in 1986. The paint look like crap and need to be redone along with the hood which was flexed in the mishap and now shows checking in the paint.
The interior is completely original and I have managed to avoid the big warp on to of the center console. I do need to fix the console around the shifter plate. It is a little warped.
Both sail panels are cracked and need to be replaced. The enigne vent grates need to be repainted.
But if I could get the finances cleared through the finance committee (my wife

), it would take much to get her back to showroom condition.
I still love this car as much as the day I picked her up. By the way, I never drove a Fiero until I took delivery of mine. It was love at first sight when they came out in 1983.
All my kids (4 boys) enjoy riding in my Fiero and love it when I rev it up and back off creating that lovely burble from the exhaust. Yes, the pipes and muffler are also original.

I know that it doesn't make any sense to own a 2 seater car when I have 4 children; but I DON'T CARE!!
