I know a bunch of folks have been interested to see a web page with all the Firebird Interior Installation steps and pics...Well I have finally put up a page detailing my installation. http://home.houston.rr.com/jonm/Firebird-1.htm
It's not complete yet, (maybe never complete) but there is enough information already to whet your appetite. And I will be updating continuously. So check back often.
My way is a little different from Roy's, so you may want to compare and contrast and figure out what works best for your situation. (I posted this in the tech section as well, but some folks might not see it there)

Thats awsome.. the more I look at it the more I look forward to trying it. Three questions... Would it be harder or easier to do this interior with a auto tranny setup? I'll probably install a 3.4 with a 4-speed auto before I do this. I was just wondering what I was going to be getting myself into.
Also Jscott, why is the shift boot closer to the dash in your car then in Mrfixits? In his it looks like he has a good inch or so before that center pillar even starts.
And for my last question... how big is the fiero computer? Could I relocate it to behind the passenger side seat (who cares about their leg room anyway )
Thanks brian

Actually you had three questions, but let me try to answer them.
1) I think it might be a little tougher to integrate the Firebird console with an auto, because I had a custom shifter made which improved the fit. The guy with the red firebird interior has an auto but his console is highly customized. When I get around to converting my coupe I'll find out
2) MrFixit58 (Roy) bolted his firebird dash directly to the lip of the Fiero windshield area. When I get to the chapter with my brackets you'll see that mine is a couple of inches back. This allowed me to use the stock airbox as well as not modify the steering column. Also I don't think it made much difference but I used the '97-'02 console,(which has a swingout cupholder) and he has the '93-'96.
3) There is probably enough slack to put it behind the passenger seat. I know there is enough to go to the driver's seat.
