I apologize for my action's, comment's, etc. in the GT-X thread.

I was lied to about the timeslip. Tyler was sending me the REAL slip in the morning so, I said I had seen it. I lied to ya'll. I feel like **** for doing it. I just trusted him because we have been friend's and talked ALL the time. So, when you have a friend that you trust, you believe them and then back them up. That's what I did. I WAS WRONG!
Cliff, I am sorry especially to you because I also lied to you about the timeslip. I WOULD understand if you BAN ME
I EXPECT all my green in my rating to be moving to the left wher the red live's... I am disappointed in Tyler, but I am more disappointed in myself for my action's!!
I am so embarassed for my action's, I will not be on here as much because I know I have lost alot of respect from you people.
I don't know what else to say except I am sorry!

hate to tell you this but tyler is still green with me (from before that other thread) so no change is needed. Sure that got a lot of peoples shorts in a knot but i look at it like a fishing story and once its in the pan you cant tell where it came from. Just think of it as a temporary brain fart and forget about it and let it go on. No use kicking yourself, whats done is done no need to worry about it.

before this fiasco started I had 198 ratings, and it was about 50/50, but I had enough greens that the red bar wasnt red, it was pink. Now I have 220, and there is a ton of red in there. Oh well. some people just wont change. Anyway Steve, youre cool with me, and I gave you a +.

I didn't even read the whole thread because I didn't think it would be worth reading, but I still forgive ya Smooth. As long as I've been here you've been one of the nice forum members I've talked to. I won't bother giving you a plus since you've already gotten one from me a long time ago, but everone that gave you a negative can still change their rating for you. Just to remind everyone =).

You didn't deceive anyone more than you were deceived yourself. FWIW, you never got a negative from me. In fact, I've given very few negatives, and only after the worst behaviour and after much thought.

FieroX, I just stayed out of it, I never really knew what people were talking about you being stuck up, etc...but you have no right to be righteous and condescending. I don't even know you, let alone ever even talked to you or corresponded with you directly on the forum or elsewhere, but your high and mighty attitude is getting highly and mightily old.
You get what you earn. Live with it or throw a tantrum and remove your old posts like others (other). If you want to talk about what is owed, how about the 20 minutes of my life that I have lost to reading your inane blather. How about the mental energy that I expended to keep myself from jumping on the bandwagon and calling you a stuck up...individual. Smooooth, you were sticking up for a friend. That is a very commendable thing, something to be proud of. But, even when it was proven...through Photoshop, and mathematically, that GT-X's story was fabricated, you still argued that it was true...and with people that are well-respected here, and that are knowledgeable about drag racing and timing.

You need to be more open to BOTH sides of an argument...to listen to what both sides have to say, and weigh the evidence. In this case, the evidence was heavily in favor of "the naysayers". If only you had stood back, and really taken in what everyone was telling you. When you have MANY people, armed with facts that back up their statement, vs one person, with a questionable story, that is telling you something else, with little to back it up with...you need to step back and see what is REALLY going on.

Steve, you are a good guy, and obviously a good friend. I can assure you, you don't have a negative rating from me. I don't rate people for standing by their friends...I rate them on their attitude towards the general population here on PFF, and their helpfulness. Although I haven't always been on the same side of an issue as you, I respect your opinion, and I also respect how much help you've given to others here on the forum. One "mistake" does not call for a change in your rating from me.

We have all stuck up for people who we trusted when the odds were against them, and I am sure we have all gotten burnt for it at one point. Such is life. You did nothing wrong. GTX did. You defended a friend, and that was honorable. What he did was not. And allowing you to take his heat was disrespectful of your friendship.

You will get no "-" from me. If anything, I respect you more.

GT-X certainly got a - from me, though. He didn't after the thing got proven fake, rather he got it after he got all pissy and insisted it was real.

Now I will join the rest of the bandwagon with this: Finish Smoooooth GT!!
