Maybe I won't! Maybe you'll just have to show up at the club next Thursday to see it.
BTW, it was in the booth last night and they ran out of paint. The yellow is so thin that 3 coats didnt' cover it well enough. I am getting more paint this morning and we'll get it finished.

Your car is looking great! I feel your pain... BlueGT has at least 6 coats of basecoat. It is a real PITA to have that many layers of paint. Can't wait to see your finished product.

Thanks for all the compliments to all!!
Yes, the car will be... er... IS yellow AGAIN!! I have been putting it back together all day today and will be at least another day. I probably won't have finished pics for a few more days yet, since I'm trying to have it ALL done (including the little grilles in all of the openings).
To answer your question, I sanded almost all of the original yellow off the car. The previous paint was really bad. I took it off all the flexible panels and most hard panels.
Just so you know, the car looks AMAZING! (to me, anyway ).
Stay tuned!

very very nice, i love it I may have missed but but do you have any engine mods? just curious
looks like some seriously nice work. awesome car
Thanks for all the complements guys. Sorry for not responding - I don't have the internet at home (I'm back at work now!!).
Yes, I do have some engine mods. I have it bored and stroked to 3.1 with performance cam, Sprint headers and a turbo. Exhaust is just missing the cat (for now).
Exoticse - no, I won't be doing another car (at least not for a long time ). This one took about 7 months to complete (body only). Ok, it could have been less if I'd spent more time on it but I still need to have a life... wait... the car IS my life. (I'm kidding of course).
BTW, the rims are 17x7" Katana (you can find them on WheelMax) - with 1/2" spacers and longer lugs on the back (to bring them out more flush with the skirts). Tires are 215/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear.
