One of the brand new 3300's??? Make sure it bolts up, which it should, but pretty much should be a smaller 3800.

More than likely it's the 3.3L similar to the one used in the older Grand Am's.

The 3300(the new one) I thought was a Holden engine used in the CTS.

I think that the 3300 series is a 90 degree v6 right? i think its more or less a destrocked 3800 series, so Im sure that there are plenty of people around that can help you out. I would figure that the 3800 series mounts would work from West coast fiero. Im sure someone more knowledgeable then I will pipe in soon!

Good luck!

Yep the 3300 is just a destroked 3800 used in some early 90's grand am. It only puts out around 150HP. It has the same bolt pattern so you can bolt up the stock fiero trans. and you can use the west coast mounts on it to. My .02cents it's notworth installing a 3300 into the fiero because they only put out about 10 more HP then the stock 2.8 Don't let me stop you.

FYI, the old 3300 is in fact a de-stroked 3800, so it's the same as installing a 3800. Given that, unless you already have the engine, since it's the same work and cost, might as well go for the 3800 (200HP) or the 3800SC (240HP) rather than the 150HP 3300.
