As everyone knows, the forum was down last night. If anything happens to cliff,God forbid, what will happen to communications between people on this forum who have become friends? Is it necessary to print out all the numbers of those you will want to communicate with if anything should happen? Is there any solution to this kind of problem?Last night woke me up to the fact that this place could disappear forever and I would lose contact with people I have come to know and consider friends, even thought we have never met.

Everyone could designate something like www.CFOG-I.com as the backup forum.

At least you can go there and post questions on if others are having the same problem or is it isolated to just your area.

we could agree to all register on some other forum so when something happens either temporarily or (lord forbid) permanently everybody knows automaticly where to show up. just be dormant there and or occasionaly to stay active.

maybe ari's fiero kit car forum or... go jack the corvette forum one day. they end our cars, we steal their forum. that's fair, almost

(before any vette ownwers get crazy, i was or maybe still am a vette forum member and have no plans to go there again)

I was thinking the same thing about losing contact with all the people here. That would really suck!

There is another fourm that some of us have discovered,

It's Automotiveforums . com, follow this path,
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=563

It's not as big, but is already set up !!

So far, in the past, I've seen Rare87GT, FieroJodi & Fierosmith there.

It's kind of funny, a week ago, I placed a post, turning that forum on to ours !!

Take a look, it might make a good temporary backup forum in time of any long outages with ours. (oh god forbid !)

Let's see what everybody thinks.

It has a few neat features, (none make it better than PPF !)

1.You can see how many people have viewed posts.

2. If you reply to someone's post, after another user replies, it will not only send a e-mail to the oridgial poster, it will send one to you also.

Saves from checking back to see if there are anymore responces after yours.

3. You can post pic's, although not from Cliff's PIP (as Cliff turned that off), but you can attach a file, much like regular e-mail

4. Let's you see who's online

Sounds good to me and I've already set it up in my favorites as PFF alternative forum, just in case.

I'm probably not alone in posting this thought , but some times I don't appreciate something until it's gone . Tried to get on PFF last night about four or five times , kept getting " This page cannot be found " .

Hey Cliff , if you read this ,just want to say Thank You .

MAFOA has its own BBS Forum that we're trying to get our members to use instead of email. While similar in appearance and operation, I doubt that it could handle the traffic that PFF does. In an emergency though......... http://fieropride.com/

They call the Fiero rare? "You have one of these rare machines?"

How about a song?

Ok if we are getting away with plugging alternatives www.fieroshop.com.au has one too as does the previously mentioned www.cfog-i.com
But some of us don't miss out in a way. We just surf on over to www.spinchat.com and go to the channel _fiero.nl and talk to all our forum buddies live

I the automotive forum is kind of cool. Just another way for us to get more info on the Fiero out to the public and get other Fiero owners that aren't members over to PFF.

I post on there too.
No binaries but it would be a good place to post should PFF go down for a day or two.
Cliff is doing a great Job and should it come down to it I would Pay to help keep PFF going.
