Here's just a few digi-pics, I'll develop film soon and post more. The weather held out and, for an inaugural event, the turn out was excellent, as was the caliber of cars and owners! Only downside was the bartender was ill, so getting adult libations was a bit of a chore. Most people managed their way around that though.
I had a good time with everyone there. Well worth the 6 hour drive. But no where to "party" Cheever did a great job on this! Pics to come later from me.

Glad to see that everyone made it home safe!! Sorry that I was'nt able to make it... I know... Go ahead and say it... :Smooth GT a NO SHOW AGAIN!!! I tell you that I wanted to SOOO BAD!! Look's like a good time was had!! Thank's to Cheever, Stimpyman, etc. for representing CFOG-I!! Ya'll are the reason that CFOG-I will be a success!!
I had counted 14 Fieros fairly early Saturday & several more arrived aafter that, so I would put a conservative guess at around 20. I would like to say a little bit about the caliber of people there-just top notch imo. John Stricker, George, Old Lars, Lloyd,Stimpy,Cheever, Squach, JohnF, Darkwing, just too many for my old brain to put names with the cars, but all just beautiful work. You have no idea what it meant to me to see Jane get out & really enjoy herself after several years of pain & being shut in. She's talked about it to everyone, especially about the leisurly cruise across the bridge with Revin. You guys & gals are just the best-thanks again. Hope everyone made the return home ok. & We're gonna be practicing that blindfold drag BTW!!

I got home just over an hour ago. For all who were concerned, I was not charged the meeting room fee, so we must have had the minimum number of 20 accomodations taken. JohnF: I hope you're feeling better, man. Blake: your survey papers ended up with my papers during the festivities in the meeting room, so I have them. Jennifer: keep those cookies comin'!
Oh, gotta run, more later.

This was the first Fiero show for my wife and I, had a fantastic time. Met a great group of guys and gals and Fantastic Fieros!!! Thanks to Chuck, and all of you for makeing this a specially great time !!!!! Dan & Kathy
I had a great time. First show I've been to and definately not the last Next time my car won't be in the running for ugliest car, let alone winning 1st. (I'm working on getting it ready for a new paint job as I type) There were some really nice Fieros. It was amazing the detail some of these guys put into their cars. And there was quite a variety. A few V8s, a 3800SC, 4.3 V6, and others. The Strickers brought their awesome Finale down, which, by the way, won the favorite car award. Also had a Mera there. That was neat to see. One of my favorite things was when we all pulled into Sonic. The look on the people's faces there was priceless I hope nobody thought I was stuck up, as I didn't get around to really meeting and talking to everyone. I feel that I should've made a little more effort to talk to you guys Anyway, I have a few pics I'll post once I find the camera. Also have to develope some film and post those. Can't wait for next year

I was late getting there. Steve Wagner's 84 to 88 conversion was the hold up.
Any of you who have seen Ed Parks post to the yahoo list about converting a 84 to 88 suspension, with 88 wiring, with GT fastback conversion, and formula interior trimmings, will note he always says "WHY" then goes on to say "DON'T". That is one time consuming job if you want it done in 3 weeks. Steve Wagner flew into DFW Thursday for the RRR with me finalizing his conversion. Well, finishing went into Saturday afternoon until 200pm, and we gas’ed up and left for RRR at 80 mph up Hwy 75. This was the cars first shakedown, and it made it with flying colors. That would be many colors. This car would have won ugliest hands down Saturday in judging based on body panels. That’s enough about Steve’s car. He left my house at 900pm tonight for Boise ID in that lovely Fiero.
Steve and I made it to the Steak house Saturday night and enjoyed the welcome of all the RRR participants. The steak was great.
Sunday started with the cruise. Then on to the Fiero trivia game. Congrat’s goes to Robert White of San Antonio for winning.
Next was some poems written and read by the RRR participants. Don’s wife MaryJane came out strong with a very nice poem, Sherryl New and then President Chuck followed up. Then on to eating and chatting. Awards were passed out to several folks I have no idea who are. I tried to shake hands with everyone Sunday and get my name out there. I am sure I missed someone.
Thanks to CFOG-I president for making this happen. Blake and John Fussell also coordinating this event made a hugh contribution. Jennier for the cookies once again. I hope I can help more on the next event and actually be there on time.

Not much to add to the posts already here. We had a great time at the RRR. Winning favorite car was a real treat and there were a LOT of nice Fieros there. I've been on the forum since about last May and I've managed to meet probably 30 or 40 of the posters on here. I've been on a Piper mail list for about 4 years and I've managed to meet maybe 10 of the regulars there. That says something for our little community here, I think.
Oh, BTW, Smooth....the odds right now 8-5 that you're not a real person. The general consensus was that you're an experimental computer generate AI and you will probably never be seen in public, much less your car.

Are there any other pics of the Red Ruckus show. Wish I could have been there. I wanted to go John, but I think the distance was going to kill me and plus my car was running like crap! I think I fixed the idle problem as I unplugged the dynotuner and plugged it back in and it is idling good now. Really weird, but Travis said something about a power surge on the tuner every time you turn the car off and on. Maybe that explains it. That's great your Finale won favorite car award, your car is something truly unique. Lets see some more pics from the event!
I just went through ours and have some to post but it seems that PIP isn't working right now. I'll put some up a little later. Perhaps that's why nobody else has posted any yet either.

We already know that Fiero owners are the best folks, but I could go on all day about how great everybody was. Nobody has yet uttered a single word of complaint to me, yet I know from my own observation there were things which should have been done differently and some mistakes I made.
I'm glad nobody got upset about having an Ugliest Car prize. I almost didn't do it, but then decided why not... most Fieros on the road aren't show quality, so why not celebrate it? It's recognition for the common man.
Jane & Sheryl's poems were fantastic! We've got to put them in the next issue of Pegasus Ranch.
I'm still in disbelief that Old Lar and AC came from NY for this. It gave me some anxiety that it could be a disappointment for them. We should hear from them soon, but they seemed to enjoy it. I sure enjoyed meeting them and talking with them. AC was a real trooper in the Fiero Rodeo contests.
If I had known that some people were coming to their FIRST Fiero event, it would have really added to the pressure. I just wanted it to be worth your expense and trouble to come.
Archie, you should have been there!
After everyone left, I was at the Wal-Mart just down the road in Durant, and in the parking lot was a red 84 with Idaho plates! Me & my kids spent the rest of Sunday enjoying ourselves, riding go-karts and playing miniature golf. Then we went to look at sites on the other side of the lake as possibilities for next year! Got pics of that. Loyde: we gotta talk.

Well, thank all of you kind folks for not elaborating on the nice spin I put on for one and all on the cruise. At least Blake says it looks like it was intentional - - I still think I should have got some kind of "Rodeo" award for that one!

Looks like you guys had a great time! Hey Chuck, If you wanna hold an event with lots of good entertainment around, we can hold an event in my neck of the woods on South Padre Island.
It's a great place to have an event. The Harley Davidson guys have an event there every year. They just had it this past weekend and something like 5,000 bikes showed up.
Check out their web site at http://www.sopadre.com/ I would love to have an event here, but I would not want to coordinate it alone. I am too busy to pull something like that off.
Glad you guys had a good time!

I am happy to say that all folks that attended from the greater San Antonio area to include Revin from Austin had a great time at the RRR. In addition, judging from the half dozen or so calls that I have gotten from members that DIDNT make the event but were curious enough to call to find out what kind of time we had, these folks really wished that they had been able to make it. Of course, Hats off to Chuck for sticking with it and making the event went off without a hitch. Speaking from a personal point, it was super neat to be able to put a face with the names that I have been seeing on the Forum. With the exception of the cooling fan motor checking out on the way up there, our trip was uneventful, even if my Fiero was the only one with its wheels on the pavement! Oh yea, that reminds me as well, I was especially honored that my little 88 Coupe was one of ONLY two 2.5s represented at the show! Viva La 2.5s! Once again, thanks go out to Chuck for making it happen, and of course to all those that came because without participation, it would not have been at all! So.....whats up for next year! Looking forward to it!

Old Lar and AC have arrived back to NYS. I got in at 12:30 am Friday morning, while AC was still on the road for another hour or so.
We stopped off at Twin Lakes, so AC could take Bob's rollback to Kansas City to pick up an 85 GT that had been wrecked. It may be salvagable, but Bob will decide. Lots of extra parts were included as the former owner had hopes of repair, but his better half said it had to go. It is drivable and the engine sounded strong.
I have bunches of photos and will put some on the forum. We had a fun trip, but Rt 69 through Oklahoma is brutal for Fieros. It really beat the kidneys with the spacing of the expansion strips while driving at 65-70. Then driving at 50 made the experience even worse. There must have been 100 miles of tooth jarring driving.

Sorry I missed you, I did'nt check the forum that one day... duh... I would have loved the verification of being a real human, so many doubter's out there. That's ok, I'll love the sight of jaw's dropping and eye's a'bulging when I people do see my car!!
Hey all. I was there for some of it. Special thanks to Revin for the ride in his car. Stimpy that sub is really sounding nice. Also the 3800 swap that was there looked super, the picture that jstricker took doesn't even begin to do it justice. It was a great time maybe next time I can stay for the whole event, (and bring my Fiero).

Didn't see the new pictures. You can see how nicely my paint matches in the 3rd pic down Oh well, not bad for a few bucks worth of spray paint. My digicam pics came out pretty blurry, so I'll wait for the other pictures and post them, provided our scanner works.
