I have helpt my father in lav to put a superchager on a 88 GT 3.4

Firtt yer we blow a piston, then we mont a litle IC
Sekond yer we blow the head pack.
The supercager is mont befoer the trotelbody (like a turbo)
To get the superchager to fitt in the enginrom we have to mowe the generator up.
and it still tite to the drive cheft.
Latly we have mont a weel betwen generator and superchger to make sure the strap dont slide. The new weel dident fit in to the enginrom so we have to cut out a bite of luggage

I am not exactly sure what you wrote, but the words 3.4 and supercharger came through clear! I like what I hear so far!

I saw one of the pics in the tech area...

What he said was:

"I have helped my father-in-law install a Supercharger on an 88GT with a 3.4L V6

The first year we blew a piston, we then mounted a small Intercooler. The Second year, we blew the head (gasket?).

The supercharger is mounted before the throttlebody (like a turbo). To get the superchager to fit in the engine bay we had to move the generator up, and it is still tight to the drive shaft. Lately we have mounted a wheel between the generator and supercharger to make sure the belt doesn't slide. The new wheel didn't fit in the engine bay, so we had to cut out a bit of luggage compartment."

Exceptional work! What is in the intake pipe with the stainless braided hose on it and the electrical connectors? Is it a mass air sensor or blow off or what?

I think the s/c come from a Jaguar.
Any veay its a Eaton 62
http://automotive.eaton.com/product/engine_controls/M62.html

we are going to run the engin on 0.5 bar ower presur.
Last yer wen we (whats the name??? Brake the engin to see how mutch HP)

(is the word Dyno?)

We hawt troubel with worm air the engin (nail???) so we coud only roun 0.2 bar and we get 175hp. on the weels.
After that we mount the litle IC and we coud roun it on 0.5 bar in could weder.

Philphine: I dontknow wat you mean, but here som pics

FieroJoe i think you mean this thing.

It´s a dump valve, wen you roun normaly its open and all owre presur rouns back to the intacke off the s/c = (its free wheels)
The engin rouns like normal engin ehid out a s/c (ounderprsur)
The ounder presur in the engin remout the doump valve. when the engin needs more power it cloce the doump valve and it round on owerpresur. (like a turbo, bout on all rpm)

Dude, I just registered to tell you that car is kick a$$. Incredible job. That shows some skills. How much psi does the blower give again? If I can ask, how much did it cost? And how long has it taken to pull off such an eye-catching job?
