When you first drive up to the lodge, this is how it looks. Rather plain, I know. It was built in 1956. The other side is toward the lake.

Inside, here is the lobby.

Another view of the lobby.

Behind the lobby, with a view of the lake, is the restaurant.

The lounge has a bigscreen TV and is next to the pool.

The pool.

The pool and lakeside rooms.

Between the pool and the restaurant, this large meeting room juts out toward the lake, and the curtains on both sides may be opened up for a great view.

Turning around from where I took the last pic, here is the view of the 90,000 acre lake.

One of the rooms. Nothing fancy, just so you know. That's the lake back there.

The Recreation Building. Sand volleyball, tennis courts, bike rentals, board games to check out, scheduled activities for kids, weight room, more stuff than I can remember.

Down the road a little is the Marina.

Above the marina shop is this cantina.

The cantina appears to seat 30 inside, plus tables & chairs all around it outside.

This paddle wheeler takes large groups for 1-1/2 hour cruises, the cost is $9 each for adults, $8 for 60+, $6 for 2-12.

They also rent pontoon boats with a maximum of 10 people. Another shot of the paddle wheeler...

I met some new friends at the marina.

This poor 88 coupe was on a lot nearby. Says $2400 on the window (yeah right). Besides paint, it really wasn't a lost cause.

The great thing about events is meeting great people like these. Mr. & Mrs. stimpy in front, Cheeverette in the back.

We just want everybody to enjoy a relaxing weekend with other Fiero people. I especially want to thank my wife for making the trip with me and tolerating all the car talk & club talk. She really puts up with a lot, being married to a Fiero fanatic.
