I got this a couple months back and just took pics. I plan on building it up some and having the rotating assembly balanced. Anyone know where I can get some sweet pistons? I have not heard of any 3.4 pistons out there. What can I do to get the most power on a budget?

That looks very cool. I can't wait to see it at one of the NEFA meetings when you're done.

Call Jegs or Summit I'm sure they can set you up w/ Ross to get some pistons.

I'm doing that for the 3.4 and they said it'd cost me 400-500 for some damn good pistons that will be able to take abuse if I put the engine to it.

I'm curious where did the 3.4 come from?

I noticed there are a few that say the 3.4 isn't that impressive and there are some who love it!

When will you have it complete? I'm kinda curious to know what you are going to do maybe you can give me a few ideas

It's a Camaro engine, and it was sold on eBay by a guy about 20 miles from him.

because of job situation (not having one), I was teetering on edge of buying it. When I amde my decision, it had already been purchased. At least it went to a Forum member, and I better get a ride when it's in....

BTW, Silv-o-lite makes direct replacement pistons for the 3.4's, as well as .030 and .060 over. Summit should be able to get you the right stuff.

You will get a ride when it is done. I have no idea when it will be in as I am kinda broke I am going to take my time on everything. I want to make it a real screamer

Hehe cool deal, I plan on starting on mine in April and hopefully being done by May or June, plan on ordering the parts early and having it all at my door.

I'll have my dad helping me on the project so we should get it done fairly quick.

Keep me updated I'm curious to hear from other 3.4 owners

Keep me posted on your project too. I think you may get done before me if I don't start paying some bills off

I'm holding you to this.

I didn't buy it because I'd lost my job (Still missing....) and didn't want to have to put it on the top of the list of selloff when push came to shove. When new employment comes around, I'm searching for one of those, too. Ideas, I've got ideas....
