tgowens, Please, please understand. I am in "No way starting any sh*t here". But after reading the crazy post a few days back I remembered something you said....
"First, yes my name is Terry Owens and I am indeed the Chairman. You made an assumption that I am Fiero Shop. I am not. I am at Fiero Shop restoring some of my own cars but am not responsible for the shop in any way."
Could you please enlighten me on whats going on out there without pissing off the wrong people? I have been thinking about doing biz with this shop.....
Once again please understand I am in no way starting any crud, im just very confused....

I certainly understand -- it seems that I am somewhat (watch this be taken out of context!) of a "spokesperson" (I own a graphics and design studio and do a considerable amount of online web work and as a result, I am more visible on here than others at Fiero Shop and as a result it is easier for me to post to Pennock's....). I have been at Fiero Shop restoring my own cars and while here I know much of the "goings on" and I know the people who work at the shop. Granted, it is a situation which is somewhat difficult for some to understand but when you retire and you are free to go anywhere and do anything that freedom makes a lot of things possible.
I do know that the shop has changed hands and that the operation of the shop will be different, to say the least. I am hopeful that those who have decided, in the past, not to do business with the shop will reconsider in view of the recent change.
Whether I decide to become involved with the shop directly, or not, remains to be seen. I have plans of my own which involve my graphics and design business and may take me to another location entirely.
And, yes, I am the Chairman of the Board of Directors for CFOG-International as well as the owner of West Highland Graphics & Design. (In addition to that, I own Fieros!! Yea!!!)
I hope that this answer some of your questions.

Leave my middle out of this!! (It seems that the older I get the more the middle spreads!)
In fact, I just went back and read my original post - no wonder there is confusion - I even confused myself!! (I do answer the phone if I am close to it though but -- calls for the shop should be directed to Tony -- sorry if I misled anyone.)

Best wishes for a great retirement, George! Terry, so you are still not affiliated with The Fiero Shop, but are acting as a "spokesperson" or liason between them and the Forum, right?
So, who officially *is* the Fiero Shop, now? Do we know them?
Good luck to everyone in their new endeavours!

While I am at the shop I help out when I can, much the same as the shop's other customers do when they are here. It is somewhat a unique shop I guess. I have seen customers come into the shop and grab a wrench or screwdriver and do a little work on their own car - it is pretty much a relaxed atmosphere and not uncommon for a customer to answer the phone either.
I know it may be hard to understand unless you have been to the shop, but those who have can relate to what I am saying.
