When I used threads from the 8ball it went on fine other than it being sorta tight.

Then I redrilled it and put in a peice of aluminum for threads. I used the same tap and everything. It won't fit.

Then I realized that the size of the shifter has to be metric. I used a 5/8's since the leather shifter fit perfectly on a fine thread 5/8 bolt. Apparently this isn't so.

So whats the size of the shifter anyways?
