OK, this has been floating back and forth on another thread as a side topic...so let's finalize something!
Anyone in/around the Minnesota area- we're going to have a meet/cruise night on this Saturday September 29th @ 7pm. Let's plan on meeting in the empty lot directly north of the Mall of America. Everyone is welcome to come whoever can make it (that means the people just across the border in WI too). We'll probably hang out and check everybody's cars out for awhile, then go north to University Avenue in St.Paul to invade Porkey's on the strip (or Arby's ...whatever).
*Maybe we need to take a side trip through the lot behind White Castle off of University too... it's where the import racers hang out
Everyone post your thoughts!

I rode along with the mustangs last week and we had some fun in the ricer lot(lots of other cool cars there also). Lets just say there was a lot of SMOKE floating around.
I am gonna make it even though I was planning on prepping my car for paint this weekend. I can put it off for another week or so.
I'll probably head down to Red Rock Road after University.

I don't hang out at the mall, so I'm not totally sure about which stores- let's see: Nordstrom is the northwest corner, sears is the northeast corner. Landau Street & Kilabrew Drive are the streets running east/west by the mall. Landau is on the north side of the mall, so get off on Landau. If you're coming off Cedear/77 (doesn't matter direction) you'll be headed east on Landau. The Turn LEFT at the first stoplight/intersection- you'll be in the spare north lot.
For those that might know the area pre-MOA, the lot is where the MET center used to be.
Yup, red rock is the local "speed test" area. Well, not quite so local, but no too far away.
I just got a little present from Pherder in the form of a 93 SCX chip (thanks again Paul!). Gotta get this baby plugged in raises rev limiter to 7400, gets rid of the speed limiter and changes the spark/fuel tables a bit. muhahahaha
Jimmy- Sorry to hear you can't make it... don't know if I have plans for Friday- maybe I can convince my wife to go twice in one weekend (then again probably not). What time does the Wedding/Reception end- you could meet us up there if you're in the area!

hoho- sorry you can't make it. I'll borrow the dig. camera from work again (this time I'll try taking pics in the remaining daylight instead of at night).
I also got a set of "tireflys" from JC Whitney. They screw on the valve stem and have flashing (green) LEDs that light up as your wheels spin. Haven't actually had them on the car yet though- but my cat sure likes 'em!

Since most of you MN people have been checking this. Have any of you been out to FieroDave's place in WI? If so how do you get there I need to go out and get a new trans.
Uaana- My Sister-In-Law grew up just north of there in Tomahawk... how quick do you need the tranny? I can check and see when they're going back next and by brother can pick it up! He lives in Winona & is only a little more than 2 hours south (about a third of the trip to FieroDave's) interested? LMK! Sorry you can't come Saturday.

Im thinking 7 may be to late. I mean the sun will be almost gone by then. IF it doesnt change Ill be at Old met center parking across from sears and macy's at 7. I am ready for an all nighter. This will be fun, hopefully we will have lots of fieros so we can show up the ricers.

I would love to hook up later Saturday but I'm pretty sure the woman would rather do something else than go cruising after the reception.
I'm not trying to steal away from this gathering but if anyone wants to have a little fun Friday night LMK. Jaei Sun I'm sure I can count on you, Standard did you fix your car(mounts cv boot)?

Well, the front tranny mount is fine, I jury-rigged the rear with a hose clamp to keep it from moving around too much, seems to be holding up so far. Gotta tie down the cv boot again, damn zip-ties keep breaking Too lazy to pull it out again and put on the replacement clamp I have. But I have some 19 gauge steel wire I'm gonna tie it down with, should hold up much better. Just gotta get around to cleaning up all the grease that's there.
I gotta do that tomorrow and change the oil, but I should be free in the evening. Let me know what time you wanna get together.
BTW Jimmy, my brother was just telling me that one of his friends that was at Red Rock was telling him about "this red Fiero that was kicking everyone's a$$".
