Well I went to the surgeon today and got 2 options. He needs more tests done to be sure what he is going to do. So I could stay in hospital till next Wednesday to get them done, or stay home and have the same results by next Friday.

So here I still am for another week, at least. Does anyone know how doctors learn't to twist the english language to mean everything but nothing when you ask them a question? Because damned if I walked out of there any wiser to whats going on.

I think it's the same with any profession when they know you are ignorant in their field.

Hopefully your doc's aren't like some mechanics helping female customers. ($50 for the coolant converter, $75 to replace the go-go-gadget-doohicky, $150 to electronically diagnose the problem, and $300 in labor fees after keeping her car for 3 weeks.)

It's a little different when it comes to your life though. I would rather spend extra time knowing what's wrong with "my" system.

Hope all goes well, and you don't have to wait for 3 weeks.

I think it makes exclusive their field of expertise. Almost a cryptic language of acronyms and slang borrowed from Latin, French, and other cultures intended to confuse. Stay well, Ed.
