Since t-tops was an option, it would be tough to pin down the exact rarest Fiero since there were a bunch of different options. Like for all we know the rarest could be a '88 t-top with gray interior, upgraded stereo, but no A/C or something. I dunno. Maybe the t-top '88 coupe is the rarest easily categorized Fiero? I dunno. I think I am analyzing this too much ....

Yeah, I know some of the Canadian numbers. I have reports from GM historical services stating that there were 1086 87 GTs built for Canada, and 423 88 GTs. Also, my friend Chris has an 88 build sheet record that says there were 307 coupes, of which 137 were W66 coded (Formula). I would love to know the other years and models of Canadian build numbers. Anyone?

I have read that the number for the coupe is in question. I have a 88 TTop coupe and I was told that the 88 numbers are 339 coupe, 299 Formula and 614 GT. Why can't we ever figure out this number?????

qwikgta,

Your numbers are closer to the real production figures for the '88 T-Top cars. I have never believed in the 91 coupe number......a Formula with T-Tops is more rare than a coupe with T-Tops (not by much though).

.....and since we're talking t-tops we may as well throw in Mera's. Only 158 made in 1988. Not many of those were yellow eh? So to the yellow GT with a T-top can you say "Mera"?
